It's January 2024, and our kiwi vines have been neglected since last spring. Today we're heavily cutting them back and cleaning them up while they are dormant.

I bought some kiwi plants. So, I wonder if a large wooden arbor would be able to withstand my two kiwi vines. It’s 89” high And about 60” wide😊

Our kiwi vines grow so quickly, and aggressively, so in order to keep them to any trellis they require a lot of pruning. We are thinking of adding 2 more cattle panels, 1 on each side of the one we have to give more space for the vines to go.

Yayyyyyy, a long video 😊 Wow, free range chickens.. I see Miranda is desperately trying to make friends with them, tell her to dig for worm's and they will help her...😘 I still say plant one of your cuttings in the woods next to a tree and let nature take place. If the blueberries grow there, their is no reason the kiwi won't..☺️ It's great to see you back at it.. 🐮🐮🐮

Hello!!! 👋 I started letting the chickens out when I'm working outside. I will need to fence in the entire garden so they don't get into everything though. I will try that with the vines! They are super aggressive growers so I need to find a place to safely put them, unless I plan for digging them up and transplanting them. I wonder if I bury a live vine, get it to root, if I can cut it and dig them up that way. Thanks so much Manda! ❤️🤗
