@@Mr.Radekk I truly believe they were more of a forced ally, were forced to free polish territories. pay some reparations and accept French troops passing through. Eventually joining in some endavours and switching back later. I never knew how much the French played a role in German Nationalism in the Napoleonic era, but a quick read got me all hard Even the Batavian peoples started getting them feelings, we Dutchies were vassalized

@@lostline01 preussens gloria was banned in east germany. it was seen as imperialist. this is probably from a west german police or civilian band. the bundeswehr which frequently plays preussens gloria didn't exist until 1955.
It was banned in East Germany, but West Germany (& the allies) actively sought to portray West Germany as the heir to the German Empire, rather than Weimar or the post-Weimar period.
