And yes some choose poorly. Only because you thought it was the best for your country. Your grandfather’s and fathers enemy suddenly became your friend.
Essas duas ABERTURAS são de ARREPIAR! Quem jogou MEDAL OF HONOR PS 1 sabe o quanto o jogo é EMOCIONANTE... PARABÉNS ao DONO DO CANAL por nos disponibilizar essas duas FANTÁSTICAS ABERUTURAS, com imagens REAIS, desse ESPETACULAR jogo!
I agree with you. Moh and Mohu got irony, atmosphere, drama and a really great variety of locations (particulary MOHU). I think that this two games, with Frontline, are the best in the whole saga.
Every time I watch this MOH Underground intro I wish Manon would pause longer right before saying 'or resist'. Just to give larger emotional impact to her words, and to foreshadow the main plot of this game - the sheer human determination to oppose a seemingly unstoppable force.
Just pause it to fulfill your emotional lust before she says it. You could leave it paused for….. days. Oh just imagine the feelings you would have when you unpaused it.
I feel sad, it didn't do what COD ended up doing. I think the history of war games would have been very different. It had such an epic movie feel that made you care. COD was the ugly step brother that actually got the inheritance MOH deserved. I think allied assault was their mistake. They were just too behind the curve in 2002
Allied Assault was superb. I think Medal of Honour suffered when Rising Sun was launched. Too far ahead of its time in some ways with camo, or functionality and poor in others
I agree with the "propaganda feel": not only makes it look like Churchill won the war single-handledly, it blatantly ignores the importance of the Eastern Front. I disagge, however, with the Hitler part: he wasn't the only factor that explains Germany's defeat in WWII.
@anteking1 If you hadn't noticed, propaganda was the point of that game. The lead developers even said the point was to give the feel of the propaganda back in those days.
The Soviets did most of the damage against Germany, however, were it not for America, the Soviet Union probably would have extended it's Iron curtain much further than it did.
Man, see what came before all the glitz and glamor or whatever. This was the shit back in the day. Still a great game today for those that can appreciate it.
ok the new medal of honor series is good. but like.. i wish they would remake these games to honor them. i think if and when they make a new medal of honor game they need to go back to old school way. to where ur being briefed before missions and ur doing that good old OSS top secret stuff rather than being just another expendable pawn. a new medal of honro wouls soo rule if they did that . and also went back to the orignal composer and used the old theme
@anteking1 I think the intro implies that England was desparate and holding on for dear life against hitler...and after the US entered the war the tide turned a bit. There is no question that England's perseverance and the US's intervention was the beginning of the 3rd Reich's downfall. Granted, Russia played a large role in defeating Germany...but you can never discount the American and British forces coming strong from the West.
@rolfart Russians lost more people than all others combined, but also could just say Stalin didn't care how many were lost as he could just keep sending them in, but on a whole the Russians did lose more. Also, not only did Americans come in late(Though still were a great help) they promised to help all during the war, promising supplies and helps, yet only came through when they were attacked:S
@Cokecakepopcorn What are you talking about "D-Day was such a horrid thing"? Casualties were lighter than expected and only at Omaha beach did the ability to hold on to the beachead ever come in doubt. D-Day was a great success that goes to the intricate and thorough planning of all the Western Allies (including my country of Canada) under the leadership of the great Dwight D. Eisenhower.
@anteking1 You comment makes sense, sort of. Many many many factors went in to why Hitler didn't win the war. You can't just say if this country or that did this or that first then they would of won, it is down to times, people, places, more than 100000 things would go into why Hitler lost the war.
Both of these games look great but they are before my time as I did not get into the Medal of Honnor series untill Allied Assault and Frontline but I need to do a 20 minute presentation on anything in my class So I think I will do about the medal of Honor history as I know about it and it is rich.
