Best part of this encounter is how smug Narly is at first, but as you slowly wear him down, his "Succumb, Succumb!" becomes more and more desperate sounding. :3
Well, if Dave Wittenburg also voiced nyarlathotep, then it's safe to say that he also did both Teddie and Shadow Teddie from Persona 4, because both were done by the same guy.
Actually, the VA ( Amanda Winn-Lee ) for Ulala is the actress who's been doing voices for a lot of ATlus games sense this one. I believe she was Yukiko from Persona 4, as well as Argilla from Digital Devil Saga. And the VA for Katsuya is Dave Wittenburg, who's also been doing voices for Atlus titles. He was Teddie from P4 as well. These two may reprise their respective roles.
P4 Arena got P4 back into the mix for answers that needed to be solved. Surprisingly it was a canon game for the story line, so their journey isn't over yet either.
I wonder if there was a video that showed the final boss after letting Eikichi, Lisa and Jun regain their memories of Innocent Sin. I heard that he was hard.
You know it's funny, I never knew Baofu's VA was voiced by the same guy who voiced Batou. Kinda puts things in perspective because they weren't even credited at the time.
Falcom Is Life He is the source of all and is all shadows just like Philemon is the source and is all personas of everyone they are the collective shadow and persona
They are all quite famous, they have appeared in multiple games and anime, Ulala's voice, Amanda Winn Lee voiced Argilla in Digital Devil Saga, Katsuya's voice, Dave Wittenburg did the voice of Teddie in Persona 4.
Maybe P5 can be a new story but with previous characters returning and the other plots (P4A and P4) as major or minor characters without overtaking the plot from the original story (eg. Kei Nanjo, Yukino Mayuzumi, Eriko Kirishima, Reiji Kidou and Maki Sonomura, characters from the first Persona appear in the Persona 2 duology as supporting characters, the P2 main characters are mentioned cameos in Persona 3 etc.)
This would be so much harder if items had the effects they do in later games. (Somas don't revive people, Hiranyas are just status lifting items, ect.)
they were probably highly held as top secret by the government, and when the P4 cast came across them they just rolled with it because they've already come across gods and an alternate world so it seems hard to be surprised when you've come across those
Was it official released the Nyarlathotep is in P5 or is that just a rumor circulating? It's not really even confirmed if the Mysterious Voice was Nyarlathotep. I still think P5 should have it's own separate story, characters and villains.
To each their own. But we can't forget P2 had two parts to continue their story. We have alot of unfinished answers with both P3 and P4 I'd like to see resolved. One main thing? The MC from P3's soul being used as a gateway being freed.
Well they do make character references in P4 and P3 at past persona games. The hermit social link in 3 makes his avatar name in Innocent Sin Online Tatsuya who is the main character of P2 as I recall. P4 actually has Chihiro from the P3 Justice social link, but it would be cool if other Main Characters could meet each other. I would like that. I still prefer P4A as it's own separate series though.
Counter-argument: DBZ. It was done in the 90s and had some decent VAs. Considering Christopher Sabat did half of the voices almost in DBZ himself. Games didn't have a lot of voice acting in the 90s. So, it's more accurate to say so about games rather then just all voice acting in general.
When you put the flashback right next to the actual event in Innocent Sin you see what i mean. Its still the same monster of course, but here he looks thinner and more greenish while in IS he looks fat and blueish. Though all the characters here look thinner than in IS. :P
I was going to say....the PSP version of Innocent Sin, the scene when Tatsuya couldn't relinquish his memories. The script is the same but the execution just blows the PSX out of the water. I am VERY, VERY curious as to how Eternal Punishment PSP will complete that scene with Tatsuya's reaction.
I don't think it would be.Whatever the next game would be would prolly focus on ME's evil schemes, and we maigh even see old characters (old, OLD characters. Like Ulala old), as implied by dat SO picture.
Well if that was the case, then Igor and everyone from the old games that stay should be disposed of. I like how they're tying everything together now. It makes it feel like it is one universe and not just AUs over and over. Persona has a story behind since the first one all the way to Arena that is consistent. I applaud them for it
RU-vid doesn't allow me to reply to the old comment. Regarding bloodyblueboy's question, literally if you play Eternal Punishment, it means that you (Tatsuya) can't "forget" the memory of Innocent Sin. If you don't play EP, nothing would have happened.
P4 Arena was very much part of the series, even if you don't feel that way. The story was not as long as a full Persona game, obviously because it's a fighting game and not an RPG....but the plot itself in P4 Arena shed a lot of light on all of the characters and did advance the story. P4 Golden's special ending took place after Arena and wrapped up P4 pretty nicely. Now Persona 3 on the other hand...
hi can you help me... i really dont know where to find a priestess arcana... already got the material to summon izanami... but i can coz i dont have a priestess arcana
Probably I'm to late, but you must collect the Free tarot cards from demon contracts, if you get the contract(green aura) the next battle you mus make the yellow aura under the demon, it will give you a free tarot cards, which you can ramake on any arcana. It's only choice for a few arcanas like a priestess, Empress, etc.
I'm terrible. During my playthrough on the PSP I've noticed that you earn more EXP and Money if other party members are KO'd... So I left everyone at 1 HP and leveled up Maya by herself. So it goes Lv 99, Lv 66, Lv 52, Lv 48 and Lv 55... It gets worse, I started another playthrough on the PS1 and so far it goes Lv 28, Lv 06, Lv 13, Lv 14 I can't help it, it's just so much easier
Actually...Rise and the cast showed surprise when Fuuka used her persona from the outside world. And though they didn't scream in surprise about an Android, neither did the P3 characters when they first met Aigis. There were bigger matters to take care of than hanging on the fact they met an Android. Plus, they fight gods and demons... Who cares about androids lol
Being anal about leveling has its pros and cons. Getting there was mind numbing and I think one of my characters still doesn't have max stats without a Persona "equipped".
I still did like the story, I would just like it to have it's own sequel. I really want Persona 5 to kick the ass of 3 and 4 which would be a monumental task but I want each subsequent game to be better then the next. In both story and gameplay mechanic.
It's just a shame that he didn't voice Teddie in P4A. If that means anything then we might not get David Wittenberg back for future Atlus games. His roles as Cielo, Katsuya and Teddie were really good.
P4 Arena has much more of a side game feel however. It doesn't feel like it's a part of the series. P4 Golden wraps up P4 pretty nicely, better then the original believe it or not. Especially if you unlock the special epilogue.
Have to see what happens in P4A the sequel. I'd rather they do a sequel to P4A then continue that storyline in P5. P5 should be all new story just like the rest of the Persona series that has followed it.
Yeah, Persona 3 ended in a dick fashion, but FES wraps up why the main character had to die in the answer or rather that he wasn't dead, why his soul had to be sealed away, which is the same difference to me. I loved P3, but I don't want to see it as the main plot for P5. All I'm sayin'. I don't mind cameos though.
Well I don't think Persona 5 should be Persona 3 part 2 or Persona 4 extended. I mean come on. Igor isn't an essential character he is only there to help with fusions and whatnot and he is not there through most of P4's story. As much as I like the creepy long nosed man it's time for a change. I'm in no way saying I don't like the characters do not misinterpret that. I simply wish P5 to be like its predecessors and be it's own game not a sequel. I mean cameos are fine to me.
Still, the atmospheres from P3 and P4 clashed too much and not very well mashed up. Like how the P4 cast really doesn't give much shits about people using Personas in the real world.
Because Nyarlathotep doesn't impersonate the same person twice, he's been Hitler, then Maya's Dad, then Tatsuya in his IS outfit with a pissed off look.
