This has been bugging me for years and always resorted to using memory cards or cardboard to support the power cord Glad to see the proper fix is not too complicated!

Hello there thanks for the video that you shared on youtube. l guess, l got another problem my ps2 has power (red light) when l press it turns green then back to red again. Would you please share information about this issue if you had any idea ? I just wanted to play some games to remember some of my memories 😇
I have a problem with a PS2 slim I picked up where the red light is always blinking. I've had it apart and checked that the power input is solid and measured current and voltage across it, also measured the f001 fuse which also is working as it should but apart from that nothing obvious. Am I missing something?
Thanks for the reply but I have fixed it, or I should say it fixed itself. Just needed to leave it in a while before turning it on. On board battery might needed to be changed?
