PS2: The King of Fighters 11! - YoVideogames 

Quick fun fact: The KoF series is actually one of the most popular/played fighting games in Latin America, even more so than Street fighter!

You guys just scartched the surface of the mechanics of this game. The tag system of this game is similar to the tag system of Marvel VS Capcom Infinite. There is a metter above the super metter that is used for tag in the middle of a combo, or for super cancels. It also fills automatically. Another thing about this game is that it is a 5 button fighter. You have: Light Punch, Light Kick, Heavy Punch, Heavy Kick and Special.(Special is an attack that in other games is executed by pressing Heavy Punch+Heavy Kick). And lastly, the Team Leader mechanic. In this game there are regular supers(lvl 1 supers) and Dream Supers(lvl 2 supers). The Team Leader is the only character able to perform Dream Supers. And Dream Supers are always executed with the Special Button(you have to do the super motion first of course).

KoF11’s presentation is so mid 2000’s it’s almost painful. In a good way, though.

I love this particular entry in the series. It was really when snk started to go real crazy with the mechanics of the fighting system( it was already kinda nuts before, but here its just right. Definitely in my top 5 ps2 fighting games easy. Also Oswald the Gawd came this game.

Vanessa is one of my fav fighting game characters. We need more boxing girls! I hope she makes it into Waifu Fighter.

This is the best King of Fighters to date. The gameplay is amazing. OSWALD IS BOSS AF. You can actually unlock more characters in the PS2 version.

It's a little late, but you can turn off the smoothing and make it old school in the main menu. I was messing with this earlier. I personally like it pixelated makes it feel "arcade" like.

this is one my top ps2 fighting games I know all supers in this one and this game have CANCELS too like KOF XIII and KOF XIV

This game is played a lot in the local venue im attending. The actual arcade version on a cab tho. The game just kinda got revived somehow. Appearantly 98fe is hot shit too currently. Which is great, i love 98.

I'm still wondering why SNK doesn't update their graphics since 1990's up to 2011. I mean their games is good but the graphics is still looking like it still in 1990's. Like for example in this game, the HUD is decent, character select screen looks a lot like Blazblue (which is great BTW) but the graphics on actual fight is sh*t.
