I lost it at "when you're weak ill be strong" cancer made the strongest man I've ever known so weak just before i lost him and it hurts me so much.

1:46 is so powerful. When he sings "I don't think I can do this anymore" and she sort of nods her head in agreement as if she's already given up, but moments later the love from her students gives her the realization and power she needs. Absolutely beautiful.

Mr. B, no one will ever find what you teach in any curriculum guide or common core because you teach people how to care and share; The hugs for everyone after a song, the support of each other after a solo, kindness to senior citizens, and the list is endless. All of this appears as the kids have learned to share their heartsongs. Thank you for showing how things should be done.

As someone who lost her mother to cancer this is such a wonderful song, and I know my mom is always with me.

What a wonderful tribute to a teacher, those kids certainly gave her a memory that she will cherish for the remainder of her life. As the aunt of an 8 year old little girl who is currently in remission after 3 episodes of brain cancer this video certainly made me cry, so very very wonderful.

Maybe I'm just pregnant and experiencing outrageous hormones, but I just didn't shed a tear or two. I cried like a baby! So sad and the children are so sweet and sincere! Edit:Here we are six years later in 2021 and I’m pregnant and bawling again 😢

4 1/2 years after this video was created...I pray this teacher is doing well. The love in these kids is so touching and their wonderful rendition brought me to tears right along with their teacher.

Facebook brought me here! Cancer is a very sensitive subject, especially for kids. It is unfortunately a reality for many people of all ages. But these kids have huge hearts for doing this. NO ONE asked them to do this. I have no other words for this, except beautiful and inspiring!

This is beautiful. Made me tear up. One of my 7th Grade teachers died of breast cancer back in '03. She was only in her early 30s. Way too young. You can just feel the way everybody in the room does thru this video. So touching. I wish their teacher a speedy recovery.

I seriously do not understand how any human being could dislike this, this is extremely beautiful.

I'm glad those boys are so into it, because my school choir had a whole seven boys and none of them would sing for fear of being like girls. The teacher - a girl - had to threaten them with multiple detentions, calls home to the parents, and collaborating with them for them to do anything. And every performance, they never did anything and got in trouble. They all failed music class by not participating. This above, proves that not all young boys think singing is only for girls. Like, I had to sub the class sometimes in my senior year and I pointed out male singers that were famous at the time and they all just stared at me. Anyway, the kids above rock and I'm proud of them.

I ran across this not long after my youngest daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has completed 16 weeks of chemotherapy and had a double mastectomy. We are now waiting to see if she will have radiation. One of her 2 sisters has also been diagnosed with the BRCA2 gene mutation and will have to go through this also. This song brought me to tears but I will also love her through it!

I cannot watch this video without both smiling and crying... SO completely beautiful and such wonderful show of emotion as they sang. I have a cousin, Julie Jones, who was also a best friend who died at 38. I didn't know about this song when it came out but I think had I heard it when she was alive, it would have wrecked me. She died in 2013 of a 12 year struggle over brain cancer and 4 brain surgeries in 8 years. God I loved that girl. I so miss her; her spirit, her vibrancy, her sense of humor. I think that's what kept us both sane - we would cry and then almost always laugh together. She is and always will be my inspiration. Thank you Martina McBride for this beautiful song and thank you PS22 Chorus for truly bringing it to life for me. This video was the first time I heard this song and I so love it in every way!

I have never seen a video declaring love of such magnitude. These babies are singing words of love from their hearts.
