People wouldnt have to go through all this bs if the person who made this tool would get off their lazy arse and open source it. They took money to acquire a new website and it seems like they took everyones money and ran bc the website is still down and bgtoolset has been offline for a half a year now. If the person who made it cant find the time to finish and release it to the public find someone else who can.
hi is it always in all cases 100% safe to use dump flash , for recover ps3 from brick(not working) ? & whats the safer method u know to dump+unbrick(use dump) bi in 2023 do u know if u have to do multiple dump(for safty just in case u brick ps3) or only one [ik it has to b done on all ps3 but : Do i ever need to do it again samples ; "format" ps3 trught xmb , update any kind off jailbreak(hen dex ...) , go back and forward from hec cex dex]
hi. your bgtoolset link is dead, could you upload it to some file sharing host please? I know it's not 100% complete, but I would love to have it anyway locally in case it goes down again. WHY doesn't BG share his work anyway? Is he scared SONY will fix the exploit in future PS3 firmware, or does he simply want to be the only one who has it 100%?

@@hardwarerepair200 right - he could die from a heartattack at any moment, and then the world is left with no BGtoolset. he should consider his legacy.
I used a Russian page and nothing happened to my ps3 console, but now that I see this video I am afraid that they have stolen my id or something else from my console. Should I worry?
If nothing happens now, then no need to worry to much. But there are cases where people brick their consoles when using the Russian clone. Russian się displays i am on 4.89 even after update to 4.82. This might be problem. Russian bgtoolset cant recognize actual version od firmware. It is strongly recommend to update fw to 4.89
