so my ps4 would either lag hard then turn off and when i turn it off it say system error or just turn off and say system error now it turns on show the ps4 logo then black (the blue light then flashes) and then turn off should i just go ahead and get a new hard drive,try this method or something else??(gosh i feel like crying rn)(and which one might be cheaper i don’t wanna do this one and its doesn’t work and then get a hard drive i k kinda don’t got to much moneys as or rn)

Hello sir, my ps4 is broken, in the sense it has this problem that shows in the video, I had opened it and saw that the flat cable is broken, is it because of it if it does not turn on?

My PS4 is showing blue light it powers on then shows no single turns off before this it was lagging and freezing even locking up having to hard reset I put a book under PS4 on angle it worked for a few hours, now it doesn't come on at all. Could u use a nickel or a diff washer?

Hey, currently have had the BLOD on my slim for over a month. Tried switching TVs, HDMI still works. I did safe mode and nothing. Before my PS4 went out, I kept experiencing slower and delayed responses on my system. Kept getting codes from time to time like CES 34.... download error. So most Likely its the hard drive, if not, then the APU

Hi, great video thanks for sharing! The symptoms on my PS4 Slim are a bit different, the blue light comes on. Stays on for about 10 seconds and then the whole console goes off. The PS4 does the same when inserting a disk, on for 10. Then off. I've replaced the PSU already to no avail and tried the washer trick. I'm fairly sure it's a gonner but if you have any advice I'd really appreciate it!

This video is out of order. Putting a washer on your PS4 is going to make it worse! The APU needs REBALLING, not a tiny washer putting even more uneven pressure on the solder balls to make it rip traces up as time goes on. Not to mention warping the motherboard so it ends up beyond repair when the console does die again... AND IT WILL!

My ps4 was working perfectly fine but for some reason last night , I turned it off with the controller before I went to sleep just like I always do but for some reason it’s not turning on anymore, it literally beeps once and the blue light flashes then it turns off .

I haven’t used my ps4 in 3 months because I was away from home and when I got home it turned on at first, while I was updating apex to the current season it just turned of then refused to stay on sometimes it would turn on but turned off within 3 minutes other time it won’t turn on at all. Hey my ps4slim can enter safe mode using power cycle and 7sec power button, i tried many option beside initialize (i still want to save my safe data), after it restart, it stop (loss signal) and the indicator colour is blinking blue. So basically my ps4 has been working perfectly fine. I put it to rest mode and now I wake up to it not turning on. I don’t think much of it. I unplug it turn it on and seconds later it turns back off itself. I tried beating the crap outta it, cleaning it and everything. Nothing is working. Mine is bringing up the PlayStation symbol then just goes black. It started working again after being off for a few days and just started doing that again. The power button just blinks blue non stop.

TBH, I had low expectation from your video man, but I tried to do the same anyway since I have all the tools and the magical ring and it won't be too long, and WTF it works on mine!!! My problem was started since there was an ants kingdom inside my power supply, pressing power button only make it beep once then suddenly off. I cleaned the power supply but still didn't work.. Then I follow this tutorial and boom it works! Not only fixing the power issue, it also solve the jet sound that coming from mine recently. Definitely will share your video to my local group. You're a life saver. But I have questions, Is this a permanent solution? will it be safe to use in a long run?

My ps4 slim beeps once and won’t turn on, then won’t even do that. I bought it 14 months ago. I put a new hard drive in it through safe mode and it worked for another week and fried that hard drive too. Last night I turned it off normally, no problems. Today it won’t boot up.
