Everything is just right in this game, the only thing I wanne change is adding more weather options on the stages and more surface changes, like frozen dirt road, icy asphalt and wet Monaco, snowing Greece etc.....

God I love Rally and this game, I know you are supposed to play it from the inside view but I always play from outside...I just love watching the Car move...Just makes me so happy.

Nice to see perfect mirrors on the ground, the puddles feel a bit strange. There is no weather influence on them or on the trees and to see just as much water in high and low ground is just weird.

I just recently set up a basic driving rig. Started out in Dirt 5 and Wreckfest.,…I thought I was great until I started playing this game. It’s brutal but very fun.

Man this game so stunning in wet and sunny conditions, I think the first dirt rally is more simulation but is easier to play with controller, but the cars are what make dirt rally 2.0 better like the Subaru legacy and 205t16 and 106 Rallye and also the Renault 5 turbo 2.

Hi i have been playing rally games for years im 60 yrs old but still feel like much younger lol i have a TGT hub with a 33cm sparco r33 wheel and load cell pedals from thrustmaster on a gt omega sim rig planted up close to and in front of a 65" lg nano cell tv which is on a special trak racer stand which allows you to put your rig very close to the screen my set up seems so realistic i now start to feel a bit queasy as you would using VR i never use to untill now ive had to retire from work due to long covid so i now have plenty of spare time to enjoy my passion of sim racing !! im also very lucky as after almost a year i managed to get a ps5 digital, then i actually won a ps5 disc version console and then ive purchased another ps5 disc version which ill keep in case one of the others breaks down !! crazy i know but thats me lol any how ive turnt my spare room into a dedicated gaming /racing room /man cave !! Now i loved the dirt rally series 1 & 2 and ive also played wrc 9 & 10 i really got into wrc 9 the stages were brilliant then wrc 10 came along and the physics are brilliant ive spent hours setting my force feedback to getting it as realistic as possible and im having a blast but what i find is i keep going back to dirt rally 2 as i find the cock pit view gives you a far better and realistic view than the wrc games 9 & 10 and the stages are wider wrc 10 seems to have relatively narrower stages than dirt rally so the game requires more concentration and focus both games dirt and wrc are very good im really looking forward to seeing what the next dirt rally instalment will be like i hope they keep the stages wide but much longer like wrc 9 & 10 !!

This gameplay looks like a 2021 version of the Network Q Rally game that used to run on Windows 95 / 98 many moons ago.

Mud and water on ground are just plane textures not related to elevation of the road. Have things to work on. I like this game, but Dirt Rally 1 has support of PSVR and it was very cool.

Cool super good sharp graphics. My ps4 slim have pixelated and not sharp graphics but still making high level times. Like 32 rallycross in the world and rally 89 in the world. And thats on controller

The physics aren't as good as the physics in WRC 10 though. Obviously now that Codies has the WRC licence they will make Dirt Rally 3 and it will become the best rally title again. I read that their first WRC game will be released in 2023.

I guess this game just went on PS? So yea it is a fun game love offroad racing / rally. So even now looking from late 2021 graphics are looking dated. Special after seeing Horizon 5 Which looks fantastic but is no fricking way a perfect 10/10 IGN LOL It is the same game (H-4), menus & all! Just with a different location that is Great & graphics that are Great oh and sound that is a little better but really not near realistic. Ok off my box. :P

According to digital foundry this game only runs at 1080p even on PS4 Pro. Was there a later update that enables DRS so PS5 can max the resolution? Video looks very nice regardless of pixel count.

Care to elaborate? I run Dirt Rally 2.0 on PS5 and I get a lot of graphical gremlins, such as texture pop-ins, some assets momentarily disappearing, flickering... I mean, the game runs smoothly most of the time but you can see these graphical issues every time. Are you doing anything different than just running the PS4 version of the game on the PS5? If you want, you can check some of my videos and the issues can clearly be seen

I disagree. I own Dirt Rally 2.0 and WRC 10 on PS5 with a G29. I find the physics to floaty on DR2. I feel WRC 10 is more realistic, though I don't know. I have never driver a rally car

graphics are great, but this is not how cars handle in that terrain - the slippage alone will make the game feel like work, forget fun.

THE MOST INCREDIBLE RALLY GAME EVER is still RBR . Not easy to setup not greatest graphic ,but dirt is a arcade game to it .Just like forza to assetto corsa . But yeah i wish someone would make a rbr2 with such graphic .

It's a great game but water/mud splashes are lacking considering that the dirt track has puddles everywhere
