@@Godson2324 yeah sure is I’m working on finding everything I can with it like I did with the Astro C40 next video will be the triggers sense explained
One thing you should know, most games have built in deadzones therefore if you apply the deadzone from the dualsense it will create latency because you’re two deadzones
@@hunterstarmech yeah, but that’s why I try not to touch the deadzone in the controller settings and only mess with them on game settings. If I need to.
Remember leave linear on call of duty and then make the adjustments in the software or the other way around if you have dynamic on cod and fiddle with these its going to add the two together w very unpredictable results 😊
I appreciate this video! This was exactly I was looking for! Some to just show and explain the dead zones and how they work in game! Thanks man left a 👍🏾
Yes I have played Apex Legends, haven’t played in a while, but I would say for linear I would say quick or precise if you are using this pro controller but all depends on what is comfortable too you
@@lapscreative5763 you welcome 🙏🏽 anytime if you try them, try quick or precise maybe steady with a +1 on the left stick and on the right stick you can do the same or have them mixed up
So Linear on (look input curve) (Left Right Stick Deadzone) on default With steady +1 on both With steady +1 can I use any controller settings like ads etc...
@@kuba5048 it all depend on your game sense in game but some people like fast but I use steady with a +1 or you can try precise with a +1 or a dynamic with a -1 or -2 but only for the R3 Analog stick the left one steady with a +1 is good
With that game I would a say default the way the controller is, or go ahead and try dynamic or steady with 0 or +1 cause with GT7 you definitely want to make sure you not turning hard & be able to make the turns easy and off the gas pedal as much.
@@CraytonTv Thank you for such a quick response.. Props 2 you.. You just gained a new sub.. Keep up the good content. If you could make a video playing GT7, that would be cool..
@@sapphiros_word I just changed the triggers to 0/1 and I forgot what I set the curve to and the left paddle of crouch/slide and ride to jump been smooth so far
I play apex legends and with the in game settings I use linear with no deadzone. I would like to tweak the settings but looking at the dualsense edge setting is very overwhelming lol do you have any suggestions by any chance? I like the loose aim I don’t want my aim to be so controlled by aim assist , which is why I use linear in game.
Yeah it should be fine, if it it’s too fast then you can always play at 0 or negative, but you can also try each one of the different settings and play a match of each setting seeing which you like best too at a 0 or a +1
Some dude said there is an in game curve and edge curve. They will get mixed up together. And sometime if you put linear won't actually be linear. But he was talking about COD. So in fortnite if you put it linear will be linear right? Can you explain for me how to get the best out of edge? Thnks man
Well I am trying to buy it. But that dude ruined things for me. So I am trying to make sure I can reach exact curves that works for me. That dude was like you can't reach exact curves. That's not true right
Well if you have this controller, I would recommend quick but also try each other one to see which you like for your comfort. And you don’t even have to add no + or nothing just leave it too natural
I need help, why does my dualsense controller feels clunky and slow compared to my dualshock controller, how do you make the dualsense mimic the feeling of the dualshock controller,im talking about their sensitivity btw
@@Ronaldothehalalportuguese well is it a new controller ? And it’s just the design on how PlayStation design the new controller but you get use to it, but if you get the pro controller then you get all the sensitivity features but make sure it’s updated and you keep using it
One thing about precise is I find myself struggling to make the minimal adjustments to my stick - so when I play Fortnite, I can't make micro-adjustments with my right stick
Hey man i recently bought the astro c40 controller and i bought some kontrol freeks for it ps4 kontrol freeks and they dont work for the controller so does kontrol freeks work with the astro c40 controller?
Well with this controller, you have to change the sensitivity on the PS5 then save it to the controller then play with it on pc , PlayStation has it blocked and locked to PS5 only for changing settings
For FIFA 23 just all depends on how you like to play? If you want quick action or movement then I use a quick with 0 or -1 or +1 if not then try out steady or dynamic with a +1 or +2 or use default and adjust your sensitivity in the game
Well I don’t play COD but I would say if you want to mess with the game one do that to your liking but the Dualsense Edge one for the controller to make some slight adjustments but I don’t touch the response curves
Well for that game I couldn’t give you much on settings or best builds since I don’t play that game no more, but for some settings to do with the thumbsticks I can. But let me see what I can find
It's definitely worth the upgrade. It makes every game a better experience. I put my trigger deadzone at 0-1 nd my cars hit full speed faster than ever on GTA online. I slaughter lobbies in BO4 for the most part unless I'm put against parties. I can never go back to the regular Dual Sense controller lol
@@montanamaxx3824 nice that’s awesome and trigger deadzone 0-1 I gotta try that in my next video never thought about that . Yeah I can’t use a regular controller no more I feel slow with it
@@CraytonTv the same thing that you did with the Fortnite can I use that also for FPS game like rainbow six siege thank you for respond to me real fast
@@hp1799 yeah with that video it will goes for fortnite, Apex, COD rainbow siege so depending on your sensitivity for the game if you want some steady aim try steady on both left and right sticks with a +1 or maybe a +2
Hi I have a question. The sticks on my Edge Controller are starting to feel loose. If I want to make it feel firmer like it was when it was new, should I increase the deadzone or lower it?
@@ShyKiller15 yes lower or higher but don’t do too much cause if you don’t have no stick drift the character will start moving on they on and will mess up what you doing.
@@gstarstar9507 it’s alright I just don’t play it, I’m over GTA V beat that game too many times from PS3 to PS5 - I’m waiting for GTA 6 with the PS5 Pro.. but GTA Online is ok ✅ I just don’t play it
Just all depends, but my paddles are set differently like the left paddle is X the right paddle is O for builds but if I play zero build my right paddle is Triangle for sprint and I use my L3 or R3 for edit
@@mohammed-jc5zr oh lol 😂 well for that game there isn’t really no best setting just whatever feels comfortable but try left stick with a steady or quick at 0 or +1
@@cjmiles2766 it’s better in my opinion cause so many customizable things you can do wit the controller and be able to change for your liking in games you play .
@@cjmiles2766 you can set it that way, in the settings to whatever you like by adding +1 +2 or +3 and trying out each different settings to see which you like
Leave it to default, I never change the deadzone on the controller on in game settings. So leave it to default unless you got stick drift but you can replace the module
@@manlimbu9515 there is an option for it, but I didn’t touch mine cause it’s a brand new controller so you shouldn’t have no drift sensitivity. So check your fortnite settings and see what you have on there? If it’s too high may need to lower it. Cause on my fortnite I left mine where I always had it and mine still solid
@@manlimbu9515 oh well the drift settings is for the Dual sense edge only, on a normal PS5 controller you have to adjust them inside your game settings that you are playing.
Goodlookin bro, I bought this controller for my son who is 11 and I'm lost on what's what, he's been messing with it, he played fortnite, we both play nba2k23 so I still got more to check out. Keep doing your thing. ✌🏾
@@larsjacobsen1678 what kind of settings you want ? You want like settings for the build or where you should change the sensitivity for the thumbsticks
@@larsjacobsen1678 well if you want a perfect build settings I can’t give you that one cause I don’t play NBA 2K no more and things changes since I played it last, But stuff with the thumbsticks and triggers I can help out with that. And send you some options
I play Apex Legends. I use to Rock Steady/Steady for both analog sticks. I really want to rock steady again on the right analog stick, but I want it to be stiff as hell. What should my response curve be for a really stiff steady! Pause! Edit. I appreciate the love, but any suggestions?
Well wit the triggers you want to set your sensitivity down to 0-1 and then in game remove trigger effects in game that should help all depends on the game,
@@frankcortes6852 well in the settings for this controller need to create a profile and do a button swap on what you want to be were and save it. But the back paddles or triggers is faster then the buttons especially if you flip R2 and R1 around and set the triggers to the lowest .
@@CraytonTv I don’t understand! If I want the Square and X buttons to have the rapid fire function I just need to swap R1 to R2 and set the trigger deadzone to 0-1??? 😵💫 What I actually want is the Square and X buttons to have the rapid fire turbo function by just keeping pressed the back pedals and watching the characters rapidly punching the villains without having to press the Square and X buttons over and over.
@@frankcortes6852 ok I get what your saying now! You want the X & Square button to have rapid fire turbo using the back paddles so you don’t have to press the button or the back paddles?
Dude i really wanted you to do the same thing on the trigger deadzone. I was wondering so bad what it does to those trigger when you set to 0-1. Is your fortnite shoot reaction time on R2 ia gonna become fast with that or is it.. oh man i hope you make a video on that😁🙏
@@CraytonTv and btw I hope you give the best in the video later, my advice to you.. is to give your dualsense edge handcam when you press the trigger while explaining the settings, besides that it's also better if you try the setting with 0-1 for example in the game such as fortnite or the other shooter, so we can see how it make a significant change on a shooting reaction speed. And.. Im sure that the video will have a lot of viewers because there are no RU-vidrs who explain this things so well. Me and my friends are looking for such the videos like that. Ok dude,.. i already subscribe since you make this video 🎉
@@heroeszx ok cool thanks for the tips definitely will make sure I do that for the video. Might have to switch some things up for a HANDCAM but let’s see what I can do and I’ll explain it better. And appreciate the info. Much appreciated it

Thanks much appreciate it, and yeah we can do that that be awesome, next video about this controller coming soon will be about the triggers sensitivity
Yeah it’s comfortable for me, I like it, but I don’t play with a high sense, I’m around like 40-43 for my sense and movement so steady for me feels great.
Hello, please, I need help. I have been playing professionally in Call of Duty 20 for months, and now my game has changed badly and I need settings, please.
We’ll default is regular but precise with a 0 or +1 maybe even a +2 could be good just gotta try them and play each one for like 10-15 mins each then see which you like best
There is no professional settings it just all depends on what you like best and you mess with the controller depending on how you like to play, but try quick, or precise or steady with +1 but you gotta find what is comfortable too you
@@defonziotiller7259 with a MW2 I can prolly do one of those just gotta download the game, now for NBA 2K23 umm I can try but I don’t play NBA 2K no more and idk if my options for a 2K best shot settings would be good but I can look some up
This controller is a game changer. I’m moving better than mouse and key and I have aim assist on cod. Can’t beat it. I get accused of cheating throughout the day.
Nice awesome, and controller players always get accused of cheating cause we have AIM Assist and how strong it is .. then when you master your controller sensitivity and deadzone your AIM becomes unstoppable
@@Jcestanley yup all about learning your controller once you can master that Thumbstick sensitivity or how much to move your sticks your good. Cause then your reactions come faster.
Anyone else’s right stick feels weird I’ve only used mine for like a month and every time I click my right stick to crouch makes my sens feel less responsive it’s weird man
@@batezfn992 to check is the controller is updated go to settings, then accessories then Dualsense edge wireless controller it gives you options to update the controller or reset the controller
@@batezfn992 by resetting the controller, so it can refix the issue, but if your thumb stick got stick drift then you will need a new module from PlayStation which is $20 but resetting it should fix it. Just copy down your settings
On fortnite for left stick i use steady plus 1 and right stick precise plus 2 and linear look input curve 10 ads look horizontal speed 12 vertical its wayyyyy more aim assist with these settings wouldnt recommend it if u use exponential unless u use quick on right stick
Awesome 👏🏽 nice tips yeah that wouldn’t work for me cause I play on Expo. But least with the PS5 Dualsense Edge gives you multiple options to make the controller the best as your liking.
For some reason on warzone the free game is hard for me to have good movement u like on my regular ps5 controller I just got my dual sense and it kinda disappointing I wish I could just have my regular ps5 controller but with paddles . Whatever setting come with the original controller that’s what I need on the dual sense is what I’m trying to say.
Did you set your controller back to default that’s like a normal PS5 controller then you can just map the buttons to what you need, or make a custom profile leave it default with the back buttons map to the buttons you like
