The release of the PS5 Pro is getting ridiculous. Honestly, we've reached a point where you have to pause the game and zoom in just to notice some tiny differences, like a sharper shadow or a hair strand that moves more "realistically." This obsession with graphics is steering the industry away from what really matters: good, creative games. We haven't even seen the full potential of the regular PS5 yet, with so many games still being released for the PS4, and now they're already dropping a PS5 Pro? It seems like companies are more focused on polishing pixels than delivering memorable experiences. At the end of the day, who cares if the puddle reflection is perfect if the game itself isn't fun?

Doesn’t seem like it’s worth it tbh for $700+. Performance mode at 1440p or whatever looks fine enough on 99% of games and most run at 60FPS . The fact you need to do a side by side to notice the difference shows it isn’t that substantial of an upgrade for the price

Should have reduced the price of discless Ps5 to 300, disc 400, Ps5 Pro discless 500, and Ps5Pro disc 600 dollars. That seems fair. This is absurd.

Phil Spencer once said , the mid gen update isn’t worth it and we’ve seen it in the Xbox one x era, it just confuses the developers and adds extra work . The current gen didn’t reach its full potential and games are landing incomplete, now releasing the ps5 pro for the last of us remake to look a bit better than the ps5 version , what a joke !!
