Welp, first step done I suppose? Here's me very confused about receiving an empty box with no Sony markings or labels and then realizing its for my PS5 to be sent back for repairs. We'll see how long this takes!
I’m about to send mine back. Got it end of January and had the blank screen issue, now the past two nights it randomly goes blank and comes back every 30 seconds. Wild

It should work just fine if not better than before. I doubt they'd want you sending it back a second time, but I can't speak for the corporate overlords
So my ps5 has been crashing/ factory resetting and freezing ever since I got it, no matter what solutions I do it always ends up crashing, is my ps5 defective?
Oh damn, I hate to say it but yeah it might be. Especially if it factory resets and is still having issues. Might be something software related. My only suggestion would be to make sure it has the most up to date software. If it keeps acting up then you'd have to reach out to Sony
I just sent mine off Saturday because mine somehow decided to go into brick mode. Just did beeping sounds and wouldt turn on at alll. Soooo I’m hoping they just send me a new one…. But I hope my information gets erased.
Sorry yours bricked too, if they don't send you the same one fixed you'll get a new one, but all your info will be erased for sure. They just wipe them and put in a fresh install of the PS5 OS. Hopefully you get it back soon!
When you send the ps5 are you supposed to get a email from Sony saying they got it ? Cause fed ex said they delivered my ps5 7h ago but ain’t hasn’t sent me no type of email saying they got it I’m kinda scared they sent it to the wrong location
I got no confirmation from Sony that they received it. But once it's in FedEx's hands you should be all good. It took them about a week to send me my replacement after I shipped mine off.
The problem is, playstation is receiving broken ps5's then repackaging them as new, then re-selling the used refurbished consoles as new. I'm sending my ps5 back yet again because the ps5 yet again cannot connect online. The problem they now stated is games like apex legends or battlefield 2042 are not coded correctly. Those games send corrupted data to your console, your console attempts to run the game and work around the corrupted code the game has in it. That is what's destroying ps5's. The safe way to play your ps5 is do not play games owned by EA. EA is solely a profit based company with the full intent to gain profit without caring if the operating systems of their games work. They do not focus efforts on fixing glitches or anything just make momey. This is why all there games get ran into the ground. They dont have a single care 4 the consumer.

Bro, I sent mine 12/6/21 and they received it today 12/9/21 and they shipped it off the same day, lmao I’m not sure if they just said fuck it and replaced it 😂
I sent my ps5 into Sony last Friday haven’t even heard anything from them about repairing my ps5 or if there working on it. It’s making me mad. I can’t even contact them and no email!!! Like what the hell!!
I was pretty much ghosted after sending mine in too, never heard anything about confirmation. But it did come back about a week and a half after I sent it in. Hopefully you get yours back soon!

👆Finally after so many recommendation I was lucky to get in touch with one of the admin. Just unbricked and fixed my ps5 console. He’s highly recommended .
Was that sarcasm or are u just a negative person? Sounds like u complain about everything. I know it's inconvenient and time consuming but are u paying for the repair?
