After watching the Xbox conference I had to come back here to make sure I wasn’t nuts for thinking this was a good conference and no I wasn’t this is how you do a conference. Show me in game engines and gameplay not just CG trailers.
@@JazGalaxy Wel this is the 1st wave of next gen so it wil stil be a blend between this and next gen. But this looks way more promising than what xbox showed! That ratchet and klank game is impossible to do on this gen machines the gameplay mechanics with the rifts is just insane. And even indie games look way better, like that "kane" game that was beautifull! I think this was a show to show 2nd tier games and indie stuf with a few AAA mixed in.... maybe next show wil focus heavilly on AAA.
@@JazGalaxy well you shouldn't enter expecting innovative gameplay from AAA games. That's usually what indies do. I mean the best games in my view in this showcase were Demon's souls (an 11 year old game!) and Returnal (wich is Demon's souls: IN SPAAAACEEE). The rest look beautiful but don't take many risks as usual with AAA

This conference was beyond epic. So many titles I’m excited about and not just from their first party studios and my god that console just looks sick, love how they revealed it 😊 I also do not get this complaining about price. Honestly Sony has been doing the trickle down and they have not lied about what their conferences are about. The specs one was about specs, this one was about their games and guess what it was about their games and a sweet reveal of the console. The next one will be UI and the price. Like literally they have marketed so well and people still complain because they are greedy and have no patience lmao 😂
logitechSDAZ dude seriously launch years for most consoles are not when the best games come out. Go back to any launch console, I would say the things coming out at launch for PS5 is actually better than most. Go back and seriously look at history before calling it okay And seriously I don’t need all my info at once, we will get the price the UI and other stuff down the road. People are never satisfied it’s actually super annoying. I didn’t even expect Sony to show the console today so it all depends on your expectations. I like the slow build because knowing everything right now would be meaningless for a console coming at the end of the year. Have some patience sheesh
@@logitechSDAZ You really think sony will have only 4 launch titles? Let me help you out yesterday they showed 4 exclusive launch titles 3rd party studios wil show their own games so i think about 10-15 launch games day one! and every month 4-5 (smaller)games, until the heavy hitters drop!
logitechSDAZ dude you are an idiot, we know how Spider-Man will play if you played the first one it’s literally a side game like uncharted lost legacy. There will be games down the road. No one is forcing you to be an early adopter. When PS4 came out their only big game was Infamous Second Son but they had ports over of TLOU and GTA5 as well as all third party games. Literally the same thing will happen here. We will also get GT7 and Ratchet within the first year. Like stop complaining this is literally how all consoles start year one and honestly with a pandemic they are doing a better job with games at release than most other console release years They showed us 28 games that will be out between holiday 2020 and 2021. The bigger games like GoW, Kojimas next game, ND’s next game, San Diego’s game will all be coming 2022 and after. Is this your first time playing a console or what? Xbox will have even less than this at launch if you are actually expecting them to have all their first party studio games out. Not sure how long you have owned a console doesn’t seem like long? I can tell you are an xboner because there’s still plenty of amazing Sony games to tide us over like TLOU2 and Ghost. This conference was meant to get us excited about the future and it did just that, if you expected them to show you 28 games with full gameplay you are a moron 😂

I can't be the only one who thought of Killer7 with Ghostwire: Tokyo right? Shinji worked on that game too and it feels like he's really being able to let loose on this game which is amazing!

R&C PS4 technically isn't a reboot. The movie was, but the game presents itself as Quark set in the normal timeline re-telling the story of the first game, with the changes just being him getting things wrong basically. It was a very smart way for Insomniac to make the movie tie in game they were told to make without messing with alternate timelines.

RE8 will be the most violent and disturbing of all RE games (I don't even know how they'll do that) according to the leaks which have been proven to be 100% real.
It is nice to watch a stream of more then 5 people and not talking over everything. Some streamers talk non stop and dont even watch the show its really annoying. This is really good though.
I think the godfall music choice is right though. Listen to the lyrics of the song. Theres a point in it that is repeated "we're not the same." Its meaning that they are a standout out in the looter genre as everyone one is doing looter shooters, meanwhile this is a hack and slash looter. Basically it does work in with what they were saying back at the game awards. Similar concept but different execution to differentiate itself. Whether its good or not i dunno. And before anyone says anything i have no clue if i will buy this as i like to avoid games that are too easily monetize-able like looters. I mean yes it definitely feels off but yet the song does try to get the message through that this is indeed different.
Dont think that it's that insane about gta 5 being there, the install base for that game is insane and if the people who play it still see that there gonna be free upgrades and new stuff for it on ps5 they're gonna be exited by it
@@brandonkylemarks Do you think that possibly FromSoft is capable of producing a stable framerate out of Elden Ring? It's eluded them thus far, even at 30fps, even on exclusive hardware. And, yeah, Bulepoint will do great with Demon's, can't wait to see real gameplay. Booted it up again on PS3 because of this announcement.
@@charoleawood I was just watching the digital foundry chat about the whole presentation and they think a lot of the games are sticking with 30 fps and targeting 4k, like ratchet and some of the new IPs. Pretty disappointing if that's the norm. I'd prefer if every AAA game hit 60, it's nice the 120hz is there but I don't think many games will go for it, it'll mainly make menus look nicer. If From can't get above 30 on ps5/series x with Elden ring then they really need to consider using someone else's engine, we love them so much that we've just put up with Demon's jank, blight town framerate and clipping, ds2s ps1 looking geometry, bloodborne frame drops and awful loading etc. I don't think we should forgive it so easy on ps5. I would guess most games would give an option (or autodetect) locking resolution at 1080 and hitting 60 minimum, a lot of consoles out there are gonna be hooked up to old tv's
Nioh does all this the right way, asks you if you want to prioritize resolution or frame rate, and you can choose 60 and let the resolution go for shit if that's what you prefer. That should be a console feature on next gen, would love the ability to set resolution limits to prioritize frame rates
@@brandonkylemarks I think From just operates the way Bethesda does and Telltale did. I don't know if they have the programming acumen or financial will to produce a stable framerate at any speed. Team Ninja has done an amazing job prioritizing optimization for Nioh (although I'd rather have Ninja Gaiden, damnit!) because they know that games of quick timing and skill are better for it. But From? They just let modders do the work for them. But it's a helluva improvement over From's own work. Dude had to go into assembly code. I love Souls games despite the fact that they've all had BAD frame pacing, but Bloodborne made me physically ill, a major reason I don't like the game too much.
If the ps5 version of GTAV has all that stuff they showed integrated into the single player and i can get it for the price of a single player season pass i would've gladly paid for when i bought it, then i'll consider it.
