PS5 vs PS4: Which One is Right For You? 

Well, my partner's son bought a PS5...and gave me his old PS4. We are both very happy. Since I had no console upgrade since PS1, I think PS4 is great 😊

Had a PS4 Pro up until 3 weeks ago when I got a PS5. The PS5 is definitely a lot smoother and quicker, and the picture is a lot clearer. However, I had put an SSD in my Pro, so it was still pretty quick. The Pro is no slouch, but you can definitely feel the power and speed behind the PS5.

I want a ps5 because I don’t want to get left behind (like I did when games stopped releasing on ps3) but I absolutely love the ps4 Home Screen or whatever you want to call it, and I’m just so accustomed to everything about the console

The main thing I liked about about my ps4 pro is in winter I didn't need a heater on while playing 😅

PS5 is better than PS4 obviously, but in terms of convenience, PS4 was a much better console

I’m under no delusion to think or say technology doesn’t get better as we go along. It’s just the nature of the business . Yet I have the ps4 pro with the Samsung 2tb ssd upgrade on a premium 4k Mini led. While my brother has a ps5 in his setup. My point is that the PS5 to me has not wowed me into upgrading just yet. Especially with limited exclusives games that make the ps5 really standout in saying. “NOW THIS IS NEXT GEN”. In fact I’m fully content waiting for a ps5 pro to upgrade to if anything. It’s my opinion though.

Can you watch regular DVD on both?

I took over someone’s pawn to get mine with disc drive and madden… it included the psVR2 all for $420. Haven’t tried the VR yet. But I hate how huge these downloads for each game is. I can have 6-9 games ready to play .

I finally upgraded to the PS5 today it was such a pain to even aquire one for the longest time.

Decided to keep my PS4 Pro after upgrading to a PC instead of a PS5.

I heard some rumors that the PS5 slim won’t be in the UK till next year which it will have 1TB of console storage.

Correct me if i m wrong i saw some of the gameplays in ps5 with current gen games having raytracing & it is locked to 30fps 4k

Had the ps4 for 9 years and i have taken good care of it but i think it is time to say goodbye, it has a hard time loading everything and oml the airport i have in my room isnt fun. The ps5 is just what I need and will probably have it for another 10 years 😭

Weird but the PS4 looks better to me, looks so stylish, anyway, don't seems a big of a difference to me since Im gonna use a series X for my main console, I just want my first ps to play all the exclusives, btw wich games from ps5 can't be played on the ps4 ? that's my last doubt to go straight with the ps4

I had no choice but to upgrade my ps4 slim just randomly stop working & won’t power on so I gave up on that & bought a ps5 digital edition for $399 after taxes plus shipping $450 in total, I honestly can’t believe you spent $850 to get it

just went from a ps4 original to a ps5. my ps4 was like a jet engine. the ps5 is much quieter and loads up the games pretty quick. if you have the funds go for a ps5 otherwise a ps4 pro might be fine but considering the used price of ps4 pro, its not much more to get a ps5.

What about TV? I am currently having ps4 slim and 1080p 60hz SAMSUNG LED TV. I want to buy PS5 but one thing that is worrying me is my TV. How it feels to play PS5 on 1080p 60hz TV? Will I get that wow moment, will games like Elden Ring, RDR2, Uncharted 4, LOU 2 look absolutely stunning etc and also what my FPS will be? Can I be assured to have 60 fps and get gorgeous gaming experience? 4k TV is unfortunately not in my budget range now so please can you answer me. Ideally the guys who are having same setup, PS5 + 1080p 60hz TV😢???

Sony is and was making games for the ps4 due to it's shortage on ps5 units. The shortage is almost over if not over. So soon Sony will stop making games for the ps4/ps4 pro. Also I wanted to add that it is much easier to upgrade the storage on a ps4/ps4pro. I added a 2tb ssd on my ps4 pro. The ps4 pro has one primary internal storage where the ps5 has the optional 2nd drive which you can add but it has to be a 4th gen nvme. If you buy a 3rd gen nvme it will not be compatible with the ps5.

My reluctance in upgrading from a PS4 to a PS5 right now is that it's strongly rumoured in the industry that the PS5 Pro will release the end of this year....

Right now PS4. It continues to get most of the titles and if you’ve waited this long to get a PS5 you can wait another year for the slim or the pro which will instantly turn the current PS5 into an outdated behemoth in terms of aesthetics and power at a similar or even lower price and you’ll regret not waiting a little longer.

What a second? You said you had to pay $850 (well I’m assuming with your accent you’re from the UK so it’s probably 850 British Pounds 💷) for a PS5? I’m guessing you bought it from a scalper or something, because that’s INSANE. I realize this video is 7 months old, however the one thing that hasn’t changed is that, at least here across the pond in the States, the price difference between a PS4 Pro and a PS5 isn’t as much as it SHOULD BE. Right now a PS4 Pro is between $250-$300 USED!! A PS5 digital Edition is $400 and right now the PS5 Disc Edition is on sale for around $450!! To me I can’t see the PS4 Pro at that price point being worth it, when you can get a BRAND NEW PS5 for $100 more essentially! I’ve owned both and all I can say is, the PS5 is A FAR SUPERIOR MACHINE. Great video though for people who truly are on the fence about it.

I got a PS5 a few months ago and its so much better than the PS4 i found the PS4 really lacked for me it was too loud and too slow so i definitely prefer PS5 was honestly glad to get rid of the PS4 tbh

The only thing I don't like about the PS5 only one media app and one game can be open at the same time everything else closes It gets annoying when you're in the middle of a game and you accidentally go to your menus or go to the setting and you try to go back to your game you accidentally click a different game and the game you were just playing closes on you😂😂😂 I mean the only great feature is that it does automatically save and you can start-off where it ended

Some people think their ps4 sounds like jet engine or makes much heat because of being ps4 , but they are wronh . It is because thier console is so old and has gathered dust . My brand new ps4 sound is normal and its not too hot either

Honestly, the PS5 doesn't have many titles that interest me right now, I'm still enjoying my PS4 until PS5 makes a slimmer model and then I'll totally be up to buying that but buying a PS5 now I'm just going to be playing the games that I already have on PS4 so there's no point in spending extra money when I already have a great PS4 slim that I'm enjoying

Lol. All anyone can say about the PS5 is, ray tracing/faster loading blah blah. Rush to play, rush to release. I see a pattern. How about devs focus on making a non broken game instead of the new useless features. xD Black ops 1 and 2 didn't have ray tracing and fast loading times. It was well written, simple to learn and amazing gameplay. Didnt hear us complain.

While I love the PS4, and think it’s an awesome console, I wouldn’t recommend getting a PS4 right now, unless you don’t really play games that much or care about the new titles, or even just for nostalgia’s sake. Yes, some games are still being released for PS4 as well, but it won’t be long before games are being released for current gen only, like Dead Space and Forspoken for the most recent examples. PS5s are now in stock and much easier to get than a few months ago. Save that extra $100-$200 and get a PS5. Or not.😂

You know what? Games in general no matter what platform you're using have really evolved over the last 30 years and there was a point videogames were almost not a thing. We should be grateful to bitch about minor details when it was very possible they wouldn't have been there to begin with.

Reload time on death or River Raid on Assassin's Creed Valhalla on a PS4 is 2min on the PS5 it is 15 seconds , case closed right there . Why does your PS4 look different than mine? My ps4 does not have two horizontal grooves it just has one.
