I prefer Playstation because Nintendo switch controllers are too small for my hand plus for good pro controller on switch we need to spend extra. And Saddest things is for budget oriented people Nintendo games never goes on discount.

Lo que sucede es que la ps4 en muchos paises llega a ser mucho mas cara en mi caso si ademas la saga dé mario tiene muchos juegos aun que maŕio sea explotado sus juegos siguen siendo muy buenos y no estoy criticando ala ps4 y alas ps5 solo que en algunos lugares la nintendo switch y nintendo switch oled son mucho mas baratos que la ps4 y ps5
I see why people thinks the Switch is garbage, but the people who think that probably have 5 games, and are just biased. The Switch has it's many flaws, too. But.. some spoiled 8 year old is still gonna come at me. So do so, I don't care what you say.
Honestly, you really can't compare them. Not only are they different types of consoles, one being a home console and one being a hybrid console, but there are different legitimate reasons to get one, the other, or both.
30 frames per second isn’t even that bad. IGN rates Breath of the Wild the greatest game of all time and it runs at 30 fps. Also, fortnight runs at 60 frames per second when docked. The funny thing is, you get 0 frames per second on the PS5 when there’s no available TV. Kids watching cartoons? Wife watching soap operas? Power outage? Bus ride? Train ride? Long car ride? Train ride? Coffee shop? Plane ride? The PS5 is a dud. What good is having all that power and performance when it’s only good in one setting? I take my switch everywhere, even run Mario Kart 8 Delux bets at the bar in table top mode. The carrying case with the console and games is small enough to fit in my winter jacket pocket. I don’t want a console the size of a VHS player from the 90s with no built in screen that you can only play at home…To each their own I guess
I may love Nintendo but the ps5 dominates the switch in almost every way Graphics Power Features Working as intended A good online subscription The only thing that makes the switch so good are the games, and if they’re 3rd party games, they’re probably on the ps5 while looking and running better
nintendo first party games on the switch are usually always good. Mario Odyssey, Metroid Dread, Smash Brothers, and Breath of the damn wild just to name a few. When it comes to first party exclusives, Nintendo will never let us down. (shut it scarlet, i aint talking to you.)
I have to agree though, hardware definitely goes to the ps5. I would like to see how nintendo will be if they are still trying to overtake Sony’s graphics, like the Gamecube and N64 era.

In my opinion, the Nintendo Switch is a much more kid-friendly and fun console, but the PS5 has better everything... I'm still a Nintendo guy though. Much more fun games.
Well, if your son really wants a switch, I don't see a problem. Super Mario Odyssey or Kirby and the Forgotten Land are pretty great games and they are not hard to understand at all. But if he just likes Nintendo, then I'd probably wait a few months and wait for the new console. I'm sure it'll be backwards compatible with all fun switch games. If he wants Nintendo really badly, just go for the Switch. Amazing console.

Mario Kart 8 Delux runs at 60 frames per second. Gotham Knights on the PS5 runs at 30 frames per second… It really depends on the game. Most people cannot tell the difference between 60 frames per second and above that. There’s more to a console than the FPS.
