hey mate - I strongly suggest you refrain from making fact free comments - for anybody to say the above 'gig' was a "rock documentary" - well the lift aint going to the top floor. Can't we ALL just enjoy the music, memories - and Brian's use of guitars 'is' relevant - throughout his career he's played mostly Fender Strats or cloned Strats. His choice of guitars is part of the entire fabric of who Brian is as a muso. Never seen him slinging a Les Paul - a guitarists choice of 'what' guitar to use is critically in their DNA as artists. The iconic Steve 'The Riffmaster' Clark, SpaceAce, Slash - all Les Paul slingers - just 3 examples where their use of a particular guitar has helped 'define' them globally for decades.
Brian has always been an amazing guitarist - not really properly recognised arguably. I prefer his black Fender Strat - being a Les Paul slinger I've never liked Ibanez and this is from the Steve Vai line of guitars. His black Fender is a Super Stat modded with kick arse single coil middle/neck pick ups + a bridge humbucker that gives seriously high distortion. Must have brought back heaps of memories playing here. Great to see a chick on drums too.
Have always thought Brian was a great guitarist and never really given proper dues. Have not necessarily liked his use of a Gem, have thought it a strange choice
Not Pseudo Echo, but Brian Canham and a bunch of other musos and some old girl on backing vocals. Not sure why another guitarist is needed, and the chiq drummer is pretty average. It’s a long way from the excellent Autumnal Park in 1984 …
FFS...Brian IS Pseudo Echo. THE original mastermind with a hippie/vegan love ethic, sharing ethic etc...BUT with monumental WORK ethic. Very rare dude.
