When a band has songs like "Waterfront". I Travel". "This Fear of Gods". "Celebrate". "The American". "New Gold Dream". "Promised you a Miracle". "Alive and Kicking". "Belfast Child". "Hunter and the Hunted"." Book of Brilliant Things". "See the Lights". " She's a River". "Hypnotised". "Blindfolded"." Broken Glass Park". "Summer". "The Signal and the Noise". "Vision Thing". "Solstice Kiss". And many others. I know, I am watching and listening to my favourite band.❤❤❤. Great footage, marky. Thanks
Living in Scotland this band back in the 80s were producing the very best of sound I’m age’s with them now and they still are delivering a sound that is unique but so brilliant in class
I love the album big music it's top notch.theyve left their contemporaries like U2,DURAN, ECHO A T BUNNYMEN, AND MORE WAY BEHIND THEIR THE ONLY ONES STILL MAKIN BRILLIANT MUSIC TODAY
I first saw them in glasgow at the secc in 91 or something like that. When jim came on stage i just watched in awe at how he commanded the stage and had us eating out of the palm of his hand.Amazing 🏴💙❤
What a joy to see an 80´s band delivering and enjoying, passion for the music rather than most others just touring for the money and under performing. Hat off !
Cherise feels every note it's so evident ❤ Their New Gold Dream at Paisley Abbey was just astounding. Production wise it was immense. Hearing Colours Fly and Big Sleep was beautiful.❤
I saw them in Taupo and yes they were average . The next night in Hamilton they nailed it. I've seen Simple Minds 15 times in concert and Taupo was not their best. But trust me they are normally awesome.
The Red Hot Summer tour with ICEHOUSE starts this Saturday... February 10 - Mornington, Vic. February 11 - Yarra Valley, Vic. February 17 - Sandstone Point, Bribie Island, Qld. February 21 - Perth, WA.
Saw them in the eighties when it was all relevant. Mel Gaynor was the business. Ain’t going to contribute to their retirement fund with exorbitant concert prices. Thats why I have RU-vid… cheers
To bad the extremely talented Bernice Scott is off promoting her own new album. She was one of the shining stars in this compilation of sessions musicians. Her version of Speed Your Love To Me was one of Simple Minds' highlights in recent memory.
