Alternative medicine that works is called just 'medicine'. Not many people realise that 'Alternative medicine' literally means an *Alternative to medicine* (such as prayers) rather than an Alternative form of medicine.

During the TV shows, the drug companies commercials, are commercials of law firms. Telling viewers to approach them for the drug side effects they might have experienced. Almost all the time some class action suits are going against the drug companies, for side effects of their drugs. Viewers are encouraged to just become part of these class action suits. Yes, there may not be any conspiracies but this doesn't mean drug companies don't have anything to hide.

Don't think you have even half the knowledge of the topics you're putting out videos on. Calling something 'pseudo-scientific' just because of your lack of knowledge on the subject. As far as it comes to medicine and health, Ayurveda is a system of medicine that has stood the test of time and it is proven to show effective results with hardly or no side effects. When it comes to modern medicine, it's controlled by the pharma industry - drugs which have major side effects and rarely ever lead the patient to wellness and restore health. So please stop prompting false information on subjects you barely have any knowledge of behind the facade of "science".

@@scienceisdope Calculus wasn't independent, after all, Archimedes got close to discovering it a lot of times. However there is a widespread belief among Indians, that it was already discovered by them and Newton/Lebiniz stole it. And ofcourse, since Mathematics is quite technical as compared to buzzwords of science, they don't take credit for Trigonometry, but they take credit for Quantam mechanics, NLM, Gravity, Relativity etc. Still doesn't change the fact that they indeed believe that westerners stole everything... Whether in mathematics or science.
@@prahalord Formal and rigourous calculus wasn't discovered in India, Yes, infinite series which are a basic component of the field were, however to call it entire calculus doesn't really make sense.

BM Hegde once said, that he has a neurosurgeon friend who just sleeps only one hour a day and performs surgeries perfectly without any shadow of tiredness and the concept of 8 hrs sleep minimum is promoted by drug lobby , multimillionare pharma companies...I was like, I havent seen any one sleep less than 4-6 hrs active the next day in my entire life; Shame on B.M Hegde ;there should be an option to take back his awards for his hippocracy and spreading fallacies on the very modern medicine which fetched him any such award in the first place

Even reading one page of Ayurveda is a waste of time.Try searching for even one research paper(peer reviewed) that has conducted a randomised,double blinded,placebo controlled trial.Until then go to your La La Land kid wherein you will experience chakras,positive and negative energies,quantum thoughts etc.

As someone who has suffered from back pain & Sciatica and getting scammed by these alternative medicine folks in the last 10 years, I find this video really connecting for I remember how many buzzwords they used to lure someone with pain & ailment into their bogus therapy & Treatment. At last, only 1 thing helped which was educating myself about pain science with the assistance of experts as well as good strength training programme with lifestyle changes that helped me to get out of pain. If someone with back pain is reading this trust me your back is not out of alignment and there are many factors that hide in plain sight that are far more important rather than one buzzword therapy treatment or supplement.

What you described as Allopathy should be more accurately described as heroic medicine. Allopathy, while an archaic word, is in fact used to desribe modern medicine.
Modern medical practice also has issues. A lot of doctors fail to do a "holistic" assessment that may be due to time constraints. If blood sugar is more , give metformin . If cholesterol is more than 200 , give statin etc without assessing the root cause. That's why these holistic youtubers get too many views.
You are doing a service to the community, parents need to be more aware of such topics since they are the main stakeholders with regards to the decisions on the health of their children. Improper information can pretty much ruin the kid's life.

I'd say, if you have a choice in the matter, don't. You'll get too invested down the line and start defending Ayurveda when most of it's theory is outdated
Your video certainly makes sense. But you cant deny the fact that pharma companies do push their reps in gifting doctors so that they recommend their medicine to their patients. Such malpractices do encourage shady pharmaceutical companies to promote their own medicines and I am sure such companies will never have better quality control on their products. This in fact will result in patients getting not the right treatment. Modern medicine is certainly a good option but it is really hard to get the right doctor.
Dr. BM Hegde was a famous allopathic doctor and is ex vice chancellor of Manipal University , one of the prestigious medical college...better you check you facts
