The leaf-mimic praying mantis (Pseudoxyops perpulchra) uses its near-perfect camouflage to silently stalk small insects, ambushing them by stealth rather than chasing. The adult instar is a fearsome opponent for the leafcutter ants that overlap its range.
You will encounter the leaf-mimic mantis in Empires of the Undergrowth's rainforest missions.

I just saw some Mantis videos recently And saying they are smart is a huge understatement to their intelligence which they have evolved over the course of millions of years.

If we are getting two critters per teir, that suggests that there are three more of these, or maybe it will show off two tier five creatures. If I had to guess are next creature for this series will be the whip spider.
