PSVR 2 - Trying VR Games For The First Time! 

Welcome to VR! Always great to see someone new get into the VR space. I started PCVR back in 2016, got hooked, and its been hard to go back to flatscreen ever since. There's just no way to convey to people (that haven't tried VR) the sense of presence...you are actually 'IN' the game world, surrounded by it on all sides. Keep spreading the VR word!

Hey great video. I too jumped into this whole new VR world for the first time a couple days ago and I was blown away using it on GT7! Like you I was holding off until the tech improved and I have no doubt this will be the time VR really sticks and developers take it seriously. The immersion you get with the incredible visuals on the headset now is like you so fittingly put it "stepping into the matrix". I am hooked and now can't wait for a proper FPS in VR. A game that has me extremely excited to see more of and is in development is Behemoth and if you haven't already seen the trailer I suggest you check it out, it's something like Game of Thrones God of War in VR. This is like when the megadrive hit stores, it will change the gaming world once more people see it with their own eyes. Haptic gloves in the future and then years ahead a haptic suit and people won't be able to differentiate the virtual world from reality. The tech opens so many doors now it's insane, I think you can tell I'm loving it! 😂

Do try out demos for games you would otherwise give a hard pass on. When I first got into VR I was surprised by how many game genres became interesting when trying them in VR. I think Puzzling Places has a trial and is a perfect example of this. Looking at it from afar it seems dumb, but it totally clicks when playing for yourself.

Awesome first impressions video! I played a ton of PSVR 1, and even with its limited tech, it blew my mind. Hoping to pick up a PSVR 2 in maybe a month or two. If you're looking to pick up more games, I'd suggest checking out Gran Turismo 7, Kayak VR Mirage, Pistol Whip, and Puzzling Places (which has a demo).

No more putting it off, time to go buy it! Also, your house is awesome!

I hate when people complain about ,oooh its to expensive oooh its not powerful , Well i agree with tbe price range and the design because it can do anything beyond you dreams . Bro I didn't even like racing games but I am so hooked on Gran Turismo 7 I spent $1,200 on a whole wheel and pedal setup after playing for one day. You've got to give that a try. If you do make sure you shut all of the HUD off, and you will legit feel like you are in a race car to the point where sometimes your brain freaks out cuz you think you're going to wreck. There is no more immersive of an experience to be had on that headset

im gonna be tyring to get one in a couple of months and i heard about fov, most headsets wont go over 100 degrees, i wonder how was this for you? was being able to see the black borders annoying?

I had the first PSVR - it gave me motion sickness - I was gutted, I REALLY wanted to get in to it but it made me feel too sick 😢

There's are enoight headsets hot there. How is it a Shane for Sony to focus on their niche? U probably have an iPhone i be never heard you hate on their limiting enclosed operating system. Well this is business not a giveaway party.

You're still wearing diving glasses, the mura, the graininess, the motion blur, just search any video for the PSVR 2 and you will see everybody say the same, unless they are paid shills, which quite a lot are. You WILL NOT get an honest review then. I own the PSVR 2. My advice, just accept it. It is what it is. The more you play it the less you pay attention to those things because your brain starts to block them out. But goodness gracious were we all conned. Let's just be honest. If anybody tells you the PSVR 2 is great they are lying through their teeth. At best, it's decent. It is entry level VR at a very VERY steep price. That's it. I enjoy it. I enjoy it a lot in fact. I am also someone who speaks the truth. I don't sweep things under the rug. I want people to know what they are buying. Because it's not cheap at all. It is very VERY expensive. It is worth more than the PS5 itself. So I just want to make sure people have their expectations of the PSVR 2 in check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
