It's awesome Steve! Incredible experience and way better than the other titles I mentioned. Now if only there was some kind of an adapter that could make my old Mad Catz steering wheel be recognized by a PS5 .... if ONLY! (wink)
@DowntheRabbitHole0 Sony has more controller security on that PS5 than San Quentin! So far no engineer has been able to hack it to allow us to use ANY kind of steering wheel/device other than the ones sanctioned by the Sony overlords.
This game in VR and with steering wheel is greater VR and racing game experience I’ve ever had. And if you turn off all HUD information it’s pure magic.
I'm not a VR person really but I have to say this does seem like it would be pretty cool. Though I'm left wondering now what is it like to get into a car crash with this thing on?
Luckily the developers have made the cars very "spongey" so banging into each other is not likely to cause a flipping over. I've seen some videos of PC VR players in games not so well guard-railed and a lot of them have to take the helmet off to avoid puking.
