He’s literally a high tier, with a moveset that makes sense for his character. I see nothing wrong with his design, other than the fact he could stand to be a bit heavier

He dies too early you cant use his Comeback Power Wing bro. Sour Spots are too weak and shadow flare is unsafe on Hit. The Charakter is Not consistent

@@Hi-fd4cw He is a "high tier" in theory only. His dissadvantage state BY FAR is the worst in the game. Sakurai and his team did this on purpose because let me give you all Seph cons..... - Super squishy witha big hit box, which makes him lose his winged mechanic because he dies before activating it unless you are very carful playing him - The worst starting and ending lag in the game for most of his moves. - Winged Sephiroth is overraged, it doesn't have "that much power" as people like to put it. In perspective, Pyra hits harder.... the only good buff is the speed and triple jump. - HE STRUGGLES A LOT WITH THESE ARCHTYPES: Zoner, Small characters, Rush down. His only advantage is against heavy characters and they can contest Seph sometimes. - His B projectile sucks because you CANNOT store it. I would understand store the last charge would be broken but why not charge 2? - His "super armor" in his winged mode is absolute ass, it is nothing like little mac who has armor during almot the entire animation. Seph gains a fraction of a second in super armor. -Unlike terry, his comeback mechanic disappears as soon as you have advantage. Meanwhile, terry, lucario are just there abusing. Kauzya is the closest to how seph comeback works, but kazuya in comeback, kills in one hit, seph kills only if tipper at the edge while winged. - HE HAS AN INCONSISTENT TIPPER MECHANIC ON PAR WITH MARTH WHICH LEADS EVEN THE SMALLEST CHARACTERS TO LIVE ABOVE 120%(it makes sense with Marth, he has good frame data, Sephiroth does NOT) -Nair is not that bad but if he had better frame data it could be a useful tool. - HE CANNOT COMBO, his combos are fake or set ups and your gameplay will be jumping+ fishing+ poking out. Even Byleth can go all in and do shit. "PROS": Seph has range, his winged mode gives him triple jump and extra speed. Shadow flare is more useful than peoiple give credit for. I know I forgot some shit but man...They did Sephiroth absolutely dirty. I expected something like smash 4 cloud or a nerfed version of that. Something good and reliable. Byleth has tournament results, joker, Terry, Steve, Min Min, Kazuya. People dont use hero because is too gimmicky but Hero can kill, is reliable. Banjo is used in other regions and have results. Sephiroth? being carried by some famous smash player like Ken or Tweek so people think he's still good.

I agree. I think Sephiroth is actually quite good in certain matches, but I hope he will be willing to choose other characters for harder matchups.

I mean it went to game 5 last stock a piece so it was super close. One interaction done differently near the end and Tweek would have won

Honestly as much as I wish he was heavier, Wing is so broken that I'm almost glad he's as light as he is. Best comeback mechanic in the game free

everything about Sephiroth makes perfect sense from a balancing perspective. the problem is that he's surrounded by 30 other good characters who make absolutely 0 sense from a balancing perspective

Ken is the best Sephiroth player.

He barely lost a losing match-up to an extremely talented player. It's not that big a deal. Not to mention he won Grand Finals 6-2.
