PSX Longplay [331] Ninja Hayate

Released only in the Japanese region as a double game set with Time Gal.
I found this to be quite a poor port of the original arcade game. The timing of the button presses can be way off making it annoying to play. I played this on hardest difficulty and you get a split second to press the right move. If you see the prompt its usually to late as you need to know the sequences in advance at this level.
I set the game to play through al levels, but they have to be shown at random (no other setting) but it doesnt break the game to much although some level transitions are odd. Arcade mode would choose just a few of the available levels.
I enable BGM which I assume is background music, but it does not play. There is no good disc images of this game being distributed and the final track on the disc appears to be blank so it could be a disc issue or emu issue causing missing music.
I think the SegaCD port (apart from video quality) was a better version of the game. -
