I am pretty sure my k pop jorney started from this MV back in 2012. We even tried to recreate some scenes with my friends at school haha And Hyuna was(and still is) like my big girl crush because of this MV. There is also a version of the song with Hyuna singing in a cute voice. And also there are lots of really cool covers. I remember one really good metal Gangnam style cover but unfortunally cant remember who did it((

This was my first ever kpop song I ever heard back in 2012 and tbh I didn't even no what kpop was until this song and I didn't no it was korean as I just fell in love with the beat and the choreo as it was easy to dance too. I remember in my school in Austria that everybody did that dance and I was like: I can't stand this song and I can't stand somebody who is making such songs. I don't want to live in the country we're this song is made....... Well I was ten... Look at me now: learning Korean, being a big kpopmutlistan, being a big fan of psy, hyuna and more and dancing the gangnam style dance myself. Gangnam is apparently a wealthy district in Seuol, South Korea. The closest female version of this type of comedy is on RU-vid as "Wednesday 1X04-Wednesday Addams Dance Scene (1080p)". A companion video is a hilarious ice dance by Kamila Valieva which is on RU-vid as "Kamila Valieva-Exhibition-Wednesday". Kamila is gaining American fans because of this performance and the fact that she lost a 2022 Winter Olympic medal because of a doping scandal. Her medal loss ended up handing an overall figure skating team gold medal to Team America because the Russians had to forefeit their medal in that category.

Apart from his funny videos where he’s not afraid to portray himself as someone silly, he’s actually very smart guy, good at marketing. That’s a pity that the only image the West got of him is a funny guy. And if you listen carefully to the lyrics, it’s so much than what’s on the surface. Cool, smart, sophisticated, rich, yet humble and warm. So much more than just another funny guy.

He were doing the concert all night long. It prevents the audience from going home even if we want to. I remembered everyone turning into zombies and taking the first transportation home in the early morning. 😅😭🤣 When he performed at Gwanghwamun, where Seoul City Hall is located, he shouted as one with the audience to the extent that the entire Seoul Metropolitan Government rang.
