Psychedelics therapy is growing in popularity across the United States and never moreso than the cohort that needs help the most - combat veterans.
This cohort of people invokes bi-partisan support regardless of political affiliation because post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is rampant among veteran communities.
According to statistics, around 22 veterans commit suicide per DAY.
In this video, biologist, psychedelic explorer, and filmmaker Rob Nelson attends a Sacred Hunting experience with Mansal Denton and 6 combat veterans coming together for 1 purpose - healing.
But why psychedelic therapy AND hunting together?
We all have archetypes within ourselves and men especially gravitate to the warrior. In modern times, we have very few ways to integrate and express our inner warrior. For a combat veteran, the warrior archetype is often cast out and left behind because of the pain associated with war.
But our objective was to create a space for veterans, such as Ryan Roberts, to come back to his skills, his warrior, and do so from a place of service for himself, his family, and community.
