I’ve been thinking about changing my career based on my interest. Just a day ago, June 27, 2019, I wrote “psychological astrology” (simply because I have interest in psychology and astrology) in my book, and out of nowhere, this video emerged in my timeline 💕
Interesting the conversation about transits. I'll never forget saturn squaring my venus at 0 degrees. I was always a very centered person, healthy self steem... and this transit almost destroyed me last year. I'm very happy it's over. I can't imagine how terrible must feel to be born with this aspect. When I get a client with this aspect now, I'll be so much more sympathetic with their situation.
I was missing my teacher John Green, so it was nice to see and hear him again. I had a wonderful experience being his student a few years ago. Thank you for having done this interview.
Great questions and beautiful reflections, Chris. I'm a therapist working towards integrating astrology. This person is so insightful and grounded, and this is such a useful interview! Thank you!
i had a reading in around 2002 about my personality and were i was going towards but at that time i could not comprehend the information, i was to busy with my life. around 8 years later my life started to change, and my change of work was in that reading, and it was all about following my north node path ;)
I love that poem. “They fuck you up, your mum and dad. They may not mean to, but they do. They fill you with the faults they had And add some extra, just for you. But they were fucked up in their turn By fools in old-style hats and coats, Who half the time were soppy-stern And half at one another's throats. Man hands on misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. Get out as early as you can, And don't have any kids yourself.” ― Philip Larkin
My school is within and the wisdom gained has come from experience. Take Manly Hall for instance. He was a wisdom scholar who didn't want to be boxed in to a school of thought. Freedom to think for ourselves is a problem that can be easily solved. Attributes and personalities are expressed in many ways. From an intuitive point of view, from studying history, biology, human physiology and psychology, it becomes a broad based skill when we bring in astrology. For me it was the icing on the cake. When we bring studies together rather than keeping them separate it makes more sense. Jung paved the way for the astrologer to use integration of shadow work to change the way mankind perceives his reality. When I work with someone to show them a loved one who isn't in the physical body anymore, they are amazed how their energies show up in a chart. Astrology imo should evolve as the astrologers skill moves forward with new information. We cannot box in an intuitive means to know ourselves through the art of astrology. Time is dual in terms of life and death. To integrate monism releases a native from their grief which is a huge psychological nuance.
Fantastic interview, so much helpful info to start with. Like others here, I found the term psychological astrology just recently, after three years of studying astrology for personal development and as a hobby. And the signs keep on coming. Thank you for your passion.
Sadly she IS still around; but I am afraid she has lost her way due due to being influenced by the so called the Mountain Astrologer. Astrology is not a simple Craft -it is the utmost Science. No mere pseudoscience - but the purest of all sciences.
My father married her for a short time, so I grew up with her.. He edited and published some of her books too. Is there any way I can get in touch or know more about this?
