What they didn't touch on are the reasons a kid develops CD..... It doesn't just suddenly appear. And the best/only way to combat it is through parenting management techniques.

Conduct disorder doesn’t just lead to aspd it can lead to mood disorders, bpd or npd. I wish this was touched on by the expert not just him saying no and saying people grown out of it.

@@amandahall5106 I didn’t say they did. This was said by the professional in the video.I had conduct disorder and i don’t have aspd. I have bpd. My point is conduct disorder doesn’t just lead to aspd.

It's not simply a neurological disorder or disease. It of course has environmental triggers as in poor parenting. Making excuses for parents doesn't help. They have to be extra firm and tough with enforcing a social contract at home. Not less so.

I have mixed feelings about Megyn. In moments she can be the sole compassionate voice. In other moments she has come off as hyper-moral. I am grateful she was willing to take on this subject with a compassionate and comforting approach. These parents are dealing with a situation in which they need to be heard, and not judged. These children have the potential to be helped. These children have the potential to excel at compassion if given the opportunity. I hope and pray that we all work towards becoming a compassionate society. These children will be our teachers as to wether we endorse violence or concern. We will want to blame so many factors, but these sensitive ones will act out the love or hate--judgement or understandings--in a mirror that will not fall to get our attention.

I've had conduct disorders since '94. That was the year (I was 10.) that I said *_my mom had a heart attack_* because I had to buy time because I couldn't *_TURN IN AN ART PROJECT!_* I'm smart and so fundamentally *_broken._* But I'm hot, so I get a pass.
