The first verse is Ruby. His verse is about his ex-girlfriend, Krystal, that dumped him after 5 years. After their breakup, he went into a really deep depression. The second verse is Ruby’s cousin Scrim. Scrim is rapping about his 2 ex’s Tori, and Sophie. If I’m not mistaken Sophie was actually rapping when Scrim was just starting out and they were rapping together. You should do a reaction to Broken Krystal Ball by Ruby. It was the first song he made after him and his ex broke up. It’s very short but very emotional.

@@420_Logan that’s what I thought. I saw something that said Scrim was getting manipulated by his exes saying that his parents were using him for his money after he bought his dad that truck. But he bought it for him out of appreciation for supporting him. It may have been on the EFB Genius anotation. If that’s true, I’m assuming that was Sophie too tho?

This guy is what a therapist should be. Non-judgmental and impartial. He doesnt care what the boys believe in or what they do or say, as long as they arent hurting themselves. Wish he was my therapist lol

One thing about $B is they have so many voices just the two of them. When I first listened to them didn't know if it was more then two and on different songs they sound like each other. It's insane the raw talent the boys have.

The one that was first and raps fast his name is ruby the second verse is scrim. I think these are real stories cause In the second verse he names torrie and Sophie. He went through a lot of toxic relationships especially after him Blowing up. Ruby and scrim are cousins a lot of their old songs talk a lot about suicide and killing. Newer songs however talk more about getting help and going to therapy to help with their struggles and addiction. This song is the third part to a three part song I no longer fear the razor guarding my heel I would recommend those too. Any suicide boys is amazing thank you for the video 🎉

7:27, the first guy you heard was ruby, the second guy is scrim. $B is just 2 guys, and its just them, however due to scrim becoming sober over the last few years, his voice has changed, and with the different way they mix their vocals he can sound very different from his older music, but its the same guy from every other suicideboys song

this is one of my all time favorite songs. just finished your video on antarctica. i’m a long time fan of the boys, they’re from my part of the world, i dig your analyses, i just wanna give you some of their most recent info: they’re on their annual tour right now, both of which are successfully through rehab and sober, scrim, who takes up the second verse is the guy behind most of the beats, he gets his inspiration from a lot of the original dirty south rap scene. he has been sober for 3 years, he announced it at greyday a couple years ago, and ruby got sober towards the latter half of last year. really would love to see you react to “matte black” from their newest album

You should see how in touch they are with their supporters at concerts. They're really appreciative and supportive of each other and everyone there. Especially when Scrim talks about his sobriety and help
