Tom, I have been wondering if you have ever dealt with addiction in anyway personally. The reason I'm curious about that is because I'm constantly amazed at how well you know the "workings" of an addict along with your ability to express real empathy. I am 42 yrs old. when I was 29 I began a long battle of alcoholism and addiction due to multiple undiagnosed mental/ emotional disorders that I was unaware of. Over the years I've experienced multiple rehabs, therapist, psychiatrist, and self-help programs. I came to resent anybody in that field trying to give me advice or tried to talk like they knew what I was thinking or how I felt. it always came out either they were way off or there was no real understanding it was like they were reading it out of a book. my gains in recovery were always from people who had a personal history or deep connection like a very close family member of the addiction or mental issues. if I had more professionals in my long line of addiction battle like you I would have done a lot better.

Elle has admitted many times that she has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction in a documentary about her dad and growing up as a celebrity child. She's Rob Snyders daughter.

I love this song, it reminds me of a poem I wrote on how I was a "social drinker" because I drank more often whenever my anxiety got too much go handle especially when surrounded by people. I often used parties as an excuse to drink more, instead of just not going

Hi Tom, Just caught your Popular Monster reaction. Great reaction. From your comments I thought I'd catch you on your latest reaction and make a suggestion for a new band reaction to your channel. The Warning are 3 sisters from Mexico that play hard rock, classic rock, old school rock and considering their young age they are phenomenal. Having just finishing their own headlining tour and opening for The Foo Fighters they have toured with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless. They will open for Guns and Roses in October too. These girls write all their own songs and has relatable lyrics that I am sure you will enjoy. They are way beyond their years with songs like Choke, Evolve, ERROR, Animosity to just name a couple of their 40+ song catalogue. The oldest sister Dany is 22. Dany is the lead vocalist and guitarist. Pau is 20, also sings and in some songs simultaneously plays drums whilst taking lead vocals. Dust to Dust, Narcisista, The end are couple of examples. Last but not least is Ale. At only 17 she is a very accomplished bass player and all 3 sisters play to a high standard. Sorry for the long comment but I think you will REALLY enjoy these girls. I write on behalf of The Warning Army (TWA) as we are a loyal and supportive fanbase that also supports those whom will help promote these awesome ladies. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! 😁

You are amazing at taking videos and helping us translate the bits we may have missed and to understand things we missed. In my case it's because I am Biased and I don't want to see the things wrong with me. I am fully aware of my issues and I was addicted to drugs and alcohol. I ended up in Prison on 4 occasions and I am not gonna blame the drinks or anything other than I knew right and wrong and I choose wrong every time and I fully deserved to be arrested. I am still learning about my old me and trying to change who I am. Thanks to people like yourself and Dax and many other artists, youtubers and watching other people. I am becoming a better member of society :D Please never stop reacting because you are helpful to me, other viewers and future viewers and you make a difference.

These dad remixes have so much potential but as of yet np ones been able to bring the perfection to the song that dax does. I'm hoping he can find someone eventually who can really contribute a great verse to these songs

I love that this is a personal song for Dax he wrote it as he was/is recovering from alcoholism. I enjoy the way the human mind works and why people think the way they do so I try to catch Tom MacDonald, Nova, Dax, Adam Calhoun and Ryan Upchurch when they go live I love their lyrics so I am curious of the struggles that made them.
