One thing I really like is at the beginning all the kids say “when I grow up I WANT to be…” But when it comes to Nate he says “when I grow up I’m GOING to be a rapper” Love that
I showed my therapist your Channel and she is in love with it!!! Part of me sobering-up years ago before I ever tried therapy was because of NF and his music that I would listen to religiously when I would start to feel down...My now therapist I see regularly loves NF since I showed her his stuff. Yesterday I had a session and we spent 20 minutes going thru your reactions and she is a huge fan. Keep up the good work sir. You're making a difference!
@@username15yearsago52 Everybody says that. I think he's gotten more comfortable with it the more he does it, like anything. He has social anxiety so it's understandable. But somehow talking to someone you know is a licensed therapist makes it a little easier
I can’t believe how excited I get when I see your notifications pop. You’re like a kid in a candy store, it’s infectious. Notice he is wiping his fake smile off his face at the end. Love your “wholesomeness” Tom! 😂
Good afternoon Tom, That beat drop when it goes from 2 people to a whole crowd always hypes me up! So cool! A few Easter eggs: The name tag on the Janitor uniform says, "Outcast." The receipts at the fast food joint showed the release date and time of his, then, upcoming single, "Time." And you caught the "Moments" album written on the CD's he handed out to co-workers in the car; as that was his first unofficial album before he went mainstream with "Mansion", after signing to Capitol Records.
Hey just wanna say thank you. I have PTSD and NF helps me cope. Thank you for helping destigmatize mental health and remove this horrible taboo. People are struggling and I hate that so many of us feel like we can't even talk about it. Thank you for what you do.
Great reaction Tom, in the song "No Name" NF said: "I don't come out and take pictures, they tell me I changed I don't smile in VIPs, you get mad like, "You know what I paid?" Guess I don't know what to say Guess I don't know what to say I leave it all on the stage I leave it all on the stage" The ending here portrays that I think. You put it well how you said it about him feeling the anxiety and pressure of it all once the adrenaline wears off.
The receipt saying time was an easter egg that was giving a clue to the next video he was putting out at the time. This was before the full album dropped. So time would be a good one to do next
Most people miss the swingset game "underdog", that we played as a kid...pushing the person really high on the swing and running underneath them. His lyrics describe it...He literally explains the game, as well as saying I wont let you push me around :) Great reactions! My fav reactor now! "I can't lie though, it's kinda how I like it to be The underdog, yeah, you probably think you know what I mean But what I'm saying is they ever push me, I'm gonna swing, yeah"
The switch from 2 people to a whole full audience is my favorite part. I am pursuing a similar situation as Nate and knowing one day I can have such an audience is inspiring. He really is a role model for me. Real music til the day we die🔥
There are soooo many bars in this song that are clever. The set for the swing bar, says “The underdog, yeah, you probably think you know what I mean But what I'm saying is they ever push me, I'm gonna swing, yeah” an underdog is a push on the swing and he is saying if you push me I’m going to swing at you but again like a swing you come back and if you push him he will succeed is what he is also saying. It’s a lot.
At tge beginning everyone says i wanna be, tgen little nate says I'm gonna be. Pretty subtle but great meaning to that. He believes in himself when teachers, friends, parents said he wouldn't.
We’re going to have to get you a seatbelt for NF reactions! Lol I truly love this video. The fun side of Nate. I would honestly love to see you do an interview with NF. There would be substance to your interview for sure. It wouldn’t just be some crazy RU-vidr.
I've talked to many people. It's always just been a job to them. You can be talked to and you're there to listen. You're a rare breed and unfortunately I don't feel I'll ever find someone who listens and cares at all. Thanks for your reactions.
When he said “Make a mil” but also sounded like “make a meal” - there’s a term for that! it’s called double entendre. It’s a phrase or figure of speech that could have two meanings or that could be understood in two different ways.
I love how you react to his songs. It's really wholesome. Once I was walking to a store with my friend and I hear the search playing in a car passing by. I was so happy that I shouted at my friend saying look that guy is vibing to NF. Man he's so good. ♥️
great video! i would suggest “dear god” by dax, as it is something that has been going on i’m my life for a couple years and i feel like it fits with the vibe of ur videos
I really love hearing your thoughts and insights but, sometimes, love even more when your jaw drops and you are rendered speechless, lol. It took me several times of watching these and a couple hints from others to catch all these. Go back and watch the video again with these in mind... 1:06 he picks up a black balloon with someone's trash (someone literally threw away one of their burdens!) 1:27Janitor's name tag says Outcast 1:49 Fast food place, on receipt it says Time 7/12/19 Midnight Eastern (his song "Time" - release date) 2:32 Moments CD in hands of people in backseat At the end, he his wiping off the fake smile
@@ReactionTherapyOfficial To me, going on the NF journey is better than anything I could watch on Netflix or any of those others... because it is REAL and we can relate and even grow and learn from him and the rest of the NF family's thoughts and experiences.
Hey! I don’t watch all of your NF reviews when you put them out because I have to be in the mood for NF, but I jumped all over this one because it’s a fun one. This song was my intro to NF a few years ago because of the garbage truck. I’m a long time garbage man (19 years)! To be honest my dream is to be a church planter in Utah, but hasn’t happened yet. Last year I finally got my degree (double major in Theology and Business Administration with Highest Honors) at the age of 45. Hopefully when I grow up I’ll get there or God will give me a better dream I don’t see yet.
Congratulations on your achievement! You earned it the hard way and stayed humble throughout! Thank you for the consistently strong comments you leave me and thanks for always being honest and transparent. Keep those dreams ALIVE!!😊👍
@@dyanalynn6698 it’s interesting. Over the years I have been teased a bit (which never really bothered me) by many co-workers because I’m a non drinker, non-cussed, and all around boring Christian. But at the same time all those guys will come to me privately when they have problems and spill their guts about things they’ve done and feel guilty about, marriage issues, divorce, drugs or whatever. Apparently I’m a good listener. Garbage men have a very high divorce rate. Probably 90% of the guys I’ve worked with at the five companies on four states are divorced or getting divorced. It’s rough as we work 60+ hours a week and it’s hard to find time to be husbands and dads and it takes a toll. I’ve been fortunate that I have been married for over 25 years to my wife, and we have a foundation of until death do us part is serious. But I wish I had done coursework in counseling.
@@thebluecollarbibleguy5114 Awe… here’s the thing though, regarding going into the counseling profession, if that’s what you were referring to in your last sentence… you have been right where you’re supposed to be imo because think about it… out of all the guys that have come to you, how many would have sought out counseling before first coming to a trusted friend would walks the walk…🙏🏻
I love how you really get into it. I’m wondering, are you going to do the song, Change? He mentions it on The Search and says you should play it. Amazing song!
I would love to hear a therapists point of view on Beautiful Addiction by NF. It’s actually credited to Nate Feuerstein and it’s from before he called himself NF. I believe his first published song aswell
Believe it, at the end when you say click the subscription Button, I thought I'm sorry I just here to see NF reactions, but since you are doing the whole journey, let's do it and dive in. Btw: English is my second lenguaje, so your reactions help me a lot to understand the songs and the psychology part of it as well. THANKS!!
I know its not on the official NF journey, but you REALLY need to do Oh Lord from Therapy Session. Song is SOOOOO GOOOOD, and you would especially enjoy, being a man of faith yourself,
It’s awesome that you noticed the notes I’ve watched so many reactions to this Song and nobody has noticed what it said the notes on the table said a list of his songs time and change were the ones that I caught
Always makes me smile when you jam out. I’d love to see you react to Slipknot, most (if not at) of their songs have intricate lyrics with even deeper meanings
I love your reactions it’s so different and I love that! Also the receipt had the information of when his song “Time” would come out and that was back in 2019
I love your channel and reactions. I’lol be 50 later this year and I love music, rap music at the top of the list. I have a hard time following some of the younger generation and watching you and your enjoyment of the music is so enjoyable. Keep up the good work.
hey, its always great to hear your amazing advice and stuff, i love watching these nf reactions, youre amazing, just wanted to say, the note said ''time 7/12/19 midnight eastern'', just thought to say it ❤😊❤
@Reaction Therapy - You, sitting and having a discussion/interview with NF or Eminem is not so far fetched, I can see that happening. If that’s something you’re actually trying to do, don’t quit, be optimistic. I’ll even help you believe, sending out good vibes to ya, Doc. 👍🏾
loved the reaction and have been binge watching all of your reactions i love them you are such a wholesome soul! tip in youtube videos you can go frame by frame with “,” and “.” so you don’t have to keep rewinding love you keep up the reactions!!
@@ReactionTherapyOfficial yeah it is just funny to see, i am new to the channel i just love when you did the video's aburt tom macdonald you hit them so perfect spot on in what you said, i to listen to tom as i can relate much from my own life in some way's so that was just spot on 🙂
Watch and listen to Dax. Dear God, Gotham, Suffocating, Eternity are all Good songs. Fully independent artist. No radio play. He too has a REAL message behind his lyrics. And I’m sure he’d be willing to do an interview over Zoom
Dude! Do his song "story" if you want a story/movie type of song. One of his most creative songs and one of the all time best story rap songs of all time.
You should listen to “All I ever wanted” by Montana of 300. Talks a lot about the struggles that I relate too and was hoping you had some insight on it
@@ReactionTherapyOfficial that is awesome. You are the perfect person to react to NF. And all the while helping those of us struggling with all different sorts of mental health issues what a safe space. GOD bless you
A lot of w(rappers) are discarded by the roadside... along with their 'burdens' that are hard to carry along the road of life's garbage sent our way... ;)
All those are other jobs were just means to put food on the table and keep a roof over his head while he chased his realy dream. When you want to do something as ambitious as being a rapper you are going to have to go through some tough times and shit jobs
