The only thing left for this plugin to be perfect and for me to completely delete every other visualizer I have is a spectrograph and a stereo field both with the multitrack visualization it already has. The multitrack spectrum view is great and this is in my opinion the best visualizer plugin out there now in the market. One of the best places I've put my money into.
Beau taf .
I know this is a visualization plugin, but any chance you gonna rebuild this to be also an eq? Now that there is layered view of the freq I can see clashing elements so easy. Its only logical I wanna be able to eq those in the same plugin, cause thats fastest workfow. Id pay for that upgrade.
tbh I really want psyscope to remain as simple, cpu/ram light and not bloated as possible, it's indeed a visualisation plugin. I like that idea too tho, so there might be a an extended 'variant' at some point in the future that does real processing (ie we could imagine gain staging, phase invert, panning, eq and stuff, kinda centalized mixer usual taskss), but if so that will for sure be a different plugin and that will also take some time^^
there is no routing needed on psyscope pro ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kNeVm8R_S4Q.html if mean psyscope free version, there is ableton routing ex on website fx23.net/psyscope/#:~:text=How%20to%3A%20use%20multi%20layers%20mode%20%2D%20ableton%20live%20routing%20examples
both plugins are heavy graphic demanding, they will fight for OS repaint priority. you should try to avoid having both ui opened at the same time, or lower FPS on both plugins (on psyscope its in about section)
@@23fx23 Ah. Thanks for the reply. I won't run them both at the same time...although, having both running is nice because Oscarizer let's me see 30 seconds. I really need that for voice-over work. It's the only plugin I found that has that long of a capture. I tried to find longer than 4 bars on Psy but couldn't find where to increase past 4 bars. Is there a more advanced menu setting? By the way, are you guys having a sale soon? Does Baphomareix have an affiliate discount code? That's where I learned about your plugin.
@@matrixate no, it's limited to 4 bars. long technical story short, unlike most of other scopes, psyscope allows to offline zoom and scroll to inspect the buffer even when transport is stopped, up to sample resolution, but the drawback is that means it needs to store not only what we see on screen, but the full audio datas at sample rez, which makes a lot of RAM, so that's a chosen design limitation. If goal is to monitor long times i would suggest more looking at other alternatives that will suit more like oscarizer indeed. Otherwise there is no affiliation with Baphometrix. There will prob be a sale for black friday week.
Hi I use ableton. when I'm monitoring groups and I have some plugins which introduce latency, do I need to take in account only the number of samples from the plugins in the group or from all the single tracks aswell?
that's where ableton PDC is real pain to deal with :/ , need to enter the longest latency of the path. means the samples of the track in the group which got the most latency feeding the group, + the latency of plugins on the group that are inserted before psyscope. for ex if tracks A,B,C go into group G. say A got 512 samples, B 1024, C 2048 and group got a plugin with 1024, the longest path is B so 2048 + 1024 of group = 3072. Sometimes i find easier to make an operator sending a tiny pulse in the group, and re-adjust visually. Hope they will sort that damn pdc out one day..
@@23fx23 alright thank you! That makes sense now, because I just took the latency of the group plugins and it was still not matching. I'll take the sub track with the most latency into account now 👍
@@SinanSindicate yeah, ive edited my answer, if want to be sample accurate that's the boring way sadly.. .sometimes i find quicker to temporay add a 'metronome' operator track in the group that send a tiny pulse ie each beat and re-adjust visually.
Absolutely no need to me rude mate... Firstly, I would like to know how fluent you are in foreign languages, english speakers are internationally known for either not being able to speak other languages, or have an extremely strong and unpleasent accent. Secondly, the software is quite self explainatory and FX23 job isn´t to be a language teacher, but a talented composer and programmer delivering amazing plugins.
