PT-1 A CAMPING DISASTER…

@CodyOATV running like a top! Lol He had some check engine oil, light or something on after he got home, but it turned out just being a sensor. That was bad so we changed it. It’s all good now. It only let a little bit of water in the engine, just enough to make it milky looking because it didn’t even separate outside overnight .

@AgitateTheBear haha ya this one identifies as a Mitsubishi though … lol ya it was fun I guess but we had discovered a bunch of 100 year old stuff the previous trip so we were going out there to metal detect the area but didn’t have much time for that lol.

For some reason I was thinking it was one of those small nissan cars, anyways that fuel siphoning trick is cool to clean the dirt out of a gas tank I will use that in the future 👍👍

@AgitateTheBear actually Nissan owns a percentage of Mitsubishi apparently. Yes, what happened there was a little bit of water must’ve got in through the charcoal cannister and into the tank so that was regular dirt from filling up plus some pieces of the charcoal cannister I’m thinking as well as water. Since our fuel has 10% ethanol in it, the water sticks to the ethanol, so it actually makes it pretty easy to suck it out if we would’ve had a bigger hose it would’ve went much faster. There’s a product on the market I think it’s called K 100 and if we would’ve had some we could’ve just dumped it in the tank and it will actually allow the engine to burn the water with the fuel. It’s the only thing like it on the market that will do that. Since we didn’t, we just had to improvise.

@kentboyko9264 hard to explain but it was at another popular crossing it doesn’t really have a name.

@@Indeewoods I only know of the 2 spots. The main easy way with all the creek crossings then further up the road across from the fire tower road where you camped a few years back with chevelle for the month. At the end of that little road/trail but couldn’t imagine trying to take a car into ruby falls that way haha

@kentboyko9264 there’s a third way to Ruby Falls up the thistle creek road on the way into South Esk but Andy was just joking when he was saying “off to Ruby Falls“ we never went anywhere near there on this trip.
