Disclaimers (yes, plural. Multiple disclaimers!)
1. I am not a professional. My opinions are that of an amateur who enjoys doing her nails at home. (I hate that I have to add this because I think it is fairly obvious. But it is relevant information and important.)
2. I don’t want you guys to hurt yourselves. Please, read and follow the instructions given with any product you buy that you are unfamiliar with.
3. I am in no way sponsored by any of the brands used in this video. Seriously, I don’t have that many subscribers. No one is going to pay me for my opinion. My opinion is not for sale…but make me an offer (That was sarcasm, in case you were wondering). The links that I provide are not affiliate links. They are just links to the sites where I purchased the products in the video. (Unless they were sold out on that site, then I try to provide a secondary link.)
4. I buy a lot of stuff from wish.com. Most things from that site can take up to a (1) month to arrive. The reason I get more of my things from Wish rather than AliExpress or Ebay is simple; I have had better experience with their customer service. When an item I ordered is defective/lost/broken/ or not as advertised I just send a quick email with a photo of the product and a short description of the problem. As long I do this within 30 days of receiving the product then they will give me a refund. I almost never get refunds from Ebay, even when the items I buy fail to arrive. Also, the sellers are usually extremely rude. AliExpress has made me go through some really long return processes. I think they do that hoping that I will just give up and forget to get my money back.

I want to add my thanks to the others for the time and effort you put into this. I've been doing glue-on nails forever and wanted to do something more "modern." Your videos take the mystery out of this process. THANK YOU!!

Just a heads-up for the people who think Madam Glam is too expensive, they do sales pretty regularly 👍🏾

I was just going to say that as well. I just placed a order at 50% off. I watch their emails and order when the price is right. I started off with Gelish Polygel but changed to MG when I saw the advertising it as a vegan product, pet cruelty free etc. Thanks for all the great info!

As always you nailed it! TFS😘 I like the MG gel polishes they are very good, pricey yes! Their Poly Gel I find too pricey for the amount you get. Kudos to the hubby for being a good sport, mine would have ran for the hills! Looking forward to you next adventure! Thank you for your honesty and effort on testing these gels, same goes for ALL the other ladies as well! Be safe, be well.

so glad you showed Makartt love on this video. their kit comes w. so much. i do my own nails now & have done 5 full sets w. the kit. clear is still hard to work with as a beginner so it's the only color i haven't used yet. but seriously a life saver for me & my sister. it's so affordable for our nails to stay done & no waiting in a salon. LongHairPrettyNails put me on to it but she only has acrylic videos on her channel. thank you for such awesome videos. you deserve all the subscribers 😉

Thank you so much for showing us this review. I have to admit that I absolutely love Madam Glam polygel. I have tried other dupes like Elite 99 and tried to work with the clear awful I absolutely hated it. I've also worked with Marquette which isn't bad but I've noticed that some of the product will come off on your brush when you're manipulating it and trying to get it to stay where you want it to stay. But Madam Glam when I tried it absolute Heaven it goes on smooth.The texture and consistency to it allows you to be able to work with it and not have this goup, that sometimes you have to fight with the product when trying to either put it into a poppet or actually applying it to a tip, or your nail. They're awesome!! Thank you so much for putting their name out here on your videos cuz they definitely are at the top of my list for high-quality polygel. Oh and by the way the best way to afford Madam Glam is to sign up for their e-newsletter and watch out for sales, sales, sales! That is how I actually got my product along with some awesome gel nail polish.😍😍😏. I did notice that when I purchase my Madam Glam products I did purchase one of their brushes and one of the cats did come off like yours did so I didn't say anything about that because again the end with the brush stays on but the part with the spatula pops off. And I also noticed like you did that the product was awesome to soak off and it peels off and it doesn't leave any damage to the nail if you're patient enough just to allow that acetone to work.

Your nails look great! You did an amazing job. I have followed your channel for a while and really value your opinion. I've ordered and used the Gelike and Elite99. I like Elite99 best, BUT the wait time is six weeks to eight weeks. Way tooooo long. I probably wouldn't order it again for that reason. I've been interested in Madam Glam for several products, but it is too expensive. The discount code would help, thank you, but it's still too pricey. Thanks again!

Thanks, loved the peony when I saw it online, I liked it better on the nails you did. Having a discount makes buying the product worth it. I also like the brightness if the white. I'm looking into using dual forms. I could never form the acrylic right. Thanks for your reviews.

Very nice! I'm thrilled to see more videos featuring these products. I applied some MG polygel a little over a week ago, and I hadn't prepped well, so re-did them using some Mshare polygel I got from Ali express. The Mshare has lasted a little over that week, and I'll probably redo them in a day or two because of nail growth. I kept the product well away from my cuticles, and now it just looks like I need a fill. I'm new to all this, so anything I can learn is a plus. And I love MG products!
@mookzmom
@mookzmom 6 лет назад
For the record, I like the Mshare a little better. It's a little thicker than MG, and somewhat grainy, but I found that a silicone tool only needed dipping in alcohol once or twice to fill a duoform for me, and the strength is amazing. I used clear, so I can't speak to the different colors yet.

Marie B yes! I get all the newsletters and emails from Madame Glam because I signed up for it and they have been running that 50% off on everything on their website for the past month now. I don't know if it's still up there but I purchased a lot of gel polish and polygel and base so I was really happy with the product but I probably wouldn't purchase it unless they were running sales it's way too pricey for the amount that you get even though it's a very good quality gel.

Really liked your review. I wanted to know how MG polygel applied and how well it removes from the nail. Looks impressive to me. I really like their gel polishes so I trust their products, even though they're a bit pricey. I never buy at full price, especially since I use the Canadian dollar. I save up and wait for a 40% off or more sale. Patience is a virtue. They have great customer service and I LOVE the fast delivery too.

Tfs I have been going through your channel to watch your Polygel review I am still catching up so far which is your favourite Polygel brand I also have tried a few different brands here in Australia and my biggest problem with most of the Polygel is the small bubbles you get after filing so I always have to add a colour I have recently use Moyra and so far it’s the best one for French the finish is flawless without the small annoying bubbles it does file more like the Gelish brand which I don’t really like 😘thank you

Susan Toloczko yay! I love the Elite 99 white and they have a few different options for pink. If you want some thing that will arrive sooner then I recommend the Makartt kit, it comes with everything you need and it ships from the US so you don’t have to wait a month.

okay this might be a silly question but ladies I'm wondering how do you clean off your poppets when you're done creating your nails? Mine are real sticky and I've tried alcohol but don't want to try acetone cuz I don't want to it to ruin them, can you guys help me out?? thanks

I use 91% alcohol to clean mine and add just a little acetone to a Q-tip to clean the really stubborn bits.

Aset Usir El-Ra Yes, I use the 91% alcohol as well. I am still learning all of this, and I just came up with my own little method- I had one of those little “shot glass” type cups and I put the dual forms in that, and filled it with the alcohol. I let it soak for a while and just rinse them off and dry on a paper towel. Not sticky and they look brand new! 😊
