i heard him 3-4 times when he visited our small town near to Mangalore. I still remember holding the grills of big window, standing on that and listening to him live for few hours ! That hall was absolutely packed.. Probably, people from all over two districts came to watch him live !
Vaishali Ji yes I get the same feeling too. But then Bhagavan Sri Krishna has said this more than 5000y ago probably 3067BCE that the soul is immutable and indescribable, and so as I see it it’s a soul connect, every time I listen to Pandit Ji I feel his presence. Yes I’ve been listening to him from around the age of 7 I’m 65 now.
I heard Bhimsenji on quite a few occasions in his prime time & getting nostalgic every time I heard him on You Tube.I still feel as if I listings him live.No comparison to True Bharatartna Bhimsenji & he will live in our memories all the time.🙏🙏🙏
This majestic Raag provides a very wide convas to be painted and Pandit Jee has abundantly used the convas fully to present enchanting, flowery and emotional combination of its notes which only an artist of the calibre of Pandit Jee can do. The result is amazing that takes one to trance!!
What a gorgeous deep magistic voice I had the fortune to listen pandit joshiji face to face in Dover lane music conference for so many years , a prestigious 4 day whole night music conference in kolkata , Panditji used to appear after midnight , the whole audience would be in pindrop science after a thunderous applose , mesmerized by Panditjis heavenly voice .
One of the best Yaman. Bhimanna takes the audience to another world. The sargam just stays with the listener. The beginning itself ga re is so so heart touching.. Shat shat naman.
He is unique, incomparable, we're just spell bound to hear him, through his song he is always in search of Almighty, his loykari intoxicates us. He will remain in our hearts, mind, in our thoughts, as long as the earth will exist,
Pt jis aalaapana very effective, and harmonium also, waah,,, waah.muley👌 I don't know about Hindustani songs, last. Oct 2021 I my self my mind turned to Hindustani songs.first I see and heard the great Bharat ratna. I saw one saahitya,it was written by kumaravyasa(poet) it was used in yakshagana also.its called bhamini shadpadi.was sung by pt ji.in Hindustani song. Pranam to pt ji.
A voice that will remain immortal ! And such masterful command on notes and voice!! I feel privileged to have listened to Pandit ji’s live performances over a few decades. His grandson shows great potential and promise.Pray that Pandit ji blesses him for continuing his great legacy for the posterity.
I had heard the truncated version of this rendition and was enchanted by it. The audio was also not such a good quality. Now we have the whole rendition and in good quality audio too. This is my go-to music. Whenever I feel the blues, I listen to it. So beautiful.
I feel that the country has not given deserving respect and recognition to this great artist. Just wondering how many young people knw him at least by name.
He is known by all of the people who is learning classical or even influenced by this precious music. He received Bharat Ratna and he is famous. He's got the recognition.
To Raju Asokan: extremely grateful for uploading this! I have been listening to a poor quality recording of this very concert for years and always wondered how the voice actually sounded. This is the greatest Yaman there is! Cannot thank you enough! Dare I ask: Do you have the rest from this concert, and if you do, can you upload- Kafi Jhuli, Basant, Abheri (hari bhajan maado) and Jo bhaje hari ko sadaa. These are also beyond comparison (The Basant again has no equal and Jo bhaje version here is also the most delicate I have heard by him).
I am 15 years old. My favourite type of songs are rabindrasangeet and classical musics. Bless me sir 🙏 Actually I am an introvert, so I do not have more than two friends(one of them is my best friend, other one is my physical science and mathematics teacher, I started listening to these songs for him.) But I have seen that many people of this young generation is leaning towards foreign music or bollywood musics. And this hurts me.I hope that these songs does not go extinct.
