Pt. Bhimsen Joshi and Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia convinced me that classical music can be divine during my childhood. So then onwards, a journey with the music from these two greats felt humbled!
there are so many artistis but bhimsenji is bhimsenji? What a rendition, confidence! i hear thanks to utube or heard him from childhood and can not explain that how much pleasure he has given us bad luck videos were not available that time. everybody will agree that its beauty to see bhimsenji while singinng also......
Pandiji .. a name is enough.. we heard him since our childhood and its melody is increasing day by day.. and trying to learn some thing from it.. Vyolin must be Pt. M Rajam..
.recall hearing him for the first time in 1955/56 at singhi park calcutta singing same raga. I had a well known music critic sitting next to me. He whispered a legend is born. What a prophecy. Yes i am a near nonagenarian and also a collector till 05/06. This is masterclass
Awesome. Panditji has delivered an awesome concert in spite of the interfering violin. I have never ever come across such interfering accompaniment before. So preposterous for the accompaniment to even assume he/she can hang on to Panditji's movements like a leech. Only a Master can shrug off such interfering accompaniment with complete disdain and deliver an awesome concert like this. Hats off and will remain off in his or his photo's presence forever.
God is great ! I am fortunate that I can listen and experience this ... Pranam to you Bhimsen Saheb ! Miss u ! Can't forget you! U r always with us ! 🙏
Uncompareable legend bharat ratna pt Bhimsen Joshi ji ke bare mein sirf itna hi kahana chahta hun ki sabhi sur aur upsur milkar jo atyant ojpurn aur bhavpurn rachana karte hain use pt Bhimsen Joshi kahte hain! 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Lifetime unforgettable performance by Panditji! Words end here to describe the Maifil! Thanks Shri. Ashokanji to present such a delicious dish. 1:28:35 😂
Even to HEAR & RELISH such divine set of notes is a blessing that we have received, then what do we say about being able to actually SING such Eternal Notes ? Best way for me is to be SILENT & ENJOY this Divine NOISE! Thank You
So pure...no mixture no nothing...a pure feeling.. Who said there is no feeling in classical music .. Here it is....an feeling of another level... Some very upper level...
According to me the god ad music and he is the last word of Indian classical music...with due respect to all of the legends only Panditji has that call (Pukar of god in his voice )he sould be example for alll of us even those who do not sing they should make him as a idol how can a man by hard work reach such a extreme limit of perfection ...
I propose we should try to look at the case from another perspective too. It is difficult to presume the state of accompanist at that point of time. Pt Ram Narayan is hailed as one of the prominent Sarangi players across the globe. Moreover it only highlights the maturity of the vocalist who successfully handles his/her accompanist going wrong ( by chance) and vice versa. Pt. Narayan would be a novice, would be unwell or overwhelmed. It seems unfair to draw conclusions on such raw judgements. Please feel free to suggest or even correct me accordingly..
@@DC-zi6se Ram Narayan is one of those few artists who when sits to accompany a vocalist succeeds in bringing out that 'little extra' from the singer.. Please listen Kumar Gandharva's Lagan Gandhar, Saheli Todi etc where R. Narayan accompanies on Sarangi. Available on Suresh Achrekar's page. :)
