Hey Folks! In this episode of the Northwest Forager I'm attempting to make a hard apple cider using some near rotten apples and an elderberry yeast starter I made a few months back. And so the question goes... Will it Brew? Stay tuned for future updates!
List of ingredients used:
- 1 quart canning jar
- Chopped (nearly rotten) apples to fill 3/4 of Jar
- 2/3 cup sugar of choice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup wild elderberry yeast starter
- enough water to top off jar
