Also show disassembly. Anyone searching for vids like this are not experts. We mostly don't understand double auto action. I kinda do but just figured it was magic. My Infidel is sluggish. It's more or a "FIOTF" flick it out the front. Or pull it into lock after puny outward ejection. (Tablet put "erection" there. Phukin Google knows my age) Back up Kershaw just not the same but sadly works better. I carry weapons for a living/stayin alive in many countries. Guess I'll go with Infidel fixed blade and mount it on my heavy vest in Gerber spot. You're always concerned about losing the $500 knife anyway. It's kinda like my low end but still costly Rolex my wife got me. Can't see the date and don't keep time worth a sheite. You're thinkin "why wear Rolex in the sheite?" When she gave it to me in bout "03 I was amazed and since I'm rough on watches AND I like tritium or light, moveable circle thing, etc. I put the Rolex back in it's special box for dress up stuff. Unfortunately we of the bout 40yrs together, at the time, were having a little spiff of some kind and she thot I was bein a Richardhead by not wearing it. SO, I put it on and said "I will wear this son of a bitch every day and everywhere" so it's had mud, blood and beer and grosser than that on it and felt recoil from some heavy weapons and full auto fire in several countries. Guess it has a right to be a bit slow. Was in one country in very rough city, well what was left of it, and a teammate glanced over at me and said "please tell me you're not wearing a phukin Rolex in the poorest ghetto in the world." "If I ain't man enough to keep it I don't need to wear it." Yeah, big words and it nearly got me killed a couple times but I would just tell would be muggers that you can't have it but you can buy it for $25. They would just say what you can imagine and go on. Helps that I don't look like a Rolex kinda guy. Glock helped also. However I said the same thing to a diplomat we were escorting that was wearing a half million dollar watch. He just replied "that's why you're here". He was correct. Sorry, PTSD and me. The Infidel does shine when not totally kitted out. Personal protection details, workin with local LE or EDC just as civilian. That noise it makes in either direction, while not as effective as racking a 12 gauge, does have it's effect. I've seen very few folks carrying em but seems lot of folks know what it is. Like Danner boots and quality weapons. I was/am lookin for vid on possible quick clean for the Infidel and putting off sending it to Benchmade. Gonna have a black blade put in it. Satin just ain't me. Plus the tip has been bent just a little. Can barely feel it. Reckon it happened when it got stuck in a bone and I had to work it side top side to free it. Warned Benchmade dude bout possible blood contamination inside. He said that not a problem. Used to it. Seems like a tighter tolerance where blade exits and retracts would help prevent that. Or perhaps a gasket of some kind for just retract direction to clean the blade. I've gotten used to usin it for so long and also addicted to just working the action. Come on, ya'll do it too. Maybe that's why things wear out. How often do we actually NEED to use the knife but if it had an odometer on it would probly have hundred thousand openings on every one. Soothing, it be. Sorry for mini novel. I'm currently at home but wake up every few hours to "check the perimeter". Living out in the country that's not necessarily a bad thing these days. It's bout to get worse. For nearly 40 years I've been known as that crazy cop or spooky whatever dude with "machine guns" so neighborhood not bothered much but fuctup individuals mite not care. Anyway, good, clear video but way too fast for rookie. I've gotten spoiled by havin an armorer fix our weapons. Still have to know the basics but quality has improved, better ammo, gas piston over DI so less maintenance. Was telling wife yesterday, don't remember why, that she has vacuumed up a lot of little springs from me building AR or M4 lowers over the years and the damn detent springs ejecting at warp speed. Wonder we all not blind in one eye. One last question, how many thumb scars do owners of blades with an edge on both sides have? Using the Kershaw for a while, the clip also broke on the Infidel, my fault, but as you know the Kershaw has only one edge and you can press down with your thumb on back if blade when using it as just a knife and not fighting evil doers. Yeah, forget and try that with Infidel. I don't have same thumb print I was born with. Come to think of it most of my fingers are scared up. From minor to serious. Truthfully, many self inflicted. But that's a bunch more stories. I've typed more than all the other comments combined. Sadly, that's what I do. Doc sez this is like therapy for me.....I don't talk to family and friends much. Wait, FRIEND much. Nobody notices if I'm gone for a month. BTW & FYI: If your tired, been up couple days or just forget and try to put the Infidel, or any similar knife, in your back pocket, usually, upside down and gettin pissed because the clip ain't clipping to your pocket. Eventually the upside down slder "trigger" will eventually catch and that flairin pain you feel is the blade ejecting into that soft tender skin at the base of your thumb. You will probly only do it once. Of course it has never happened to me. I'm a highly trained warrior but it happend to that friend of mine. Ya'll take care.
