4:20 My explanation as to why the PLT-4 was retired after only 20 years: In my own take on PTA's lore, the PLT-4 cars had to be ordered and built in a hurry to replace the last of the aging R1/9 cars that were falling apart at the time. As a result, the PLT-4 cars suffered a lot of major mechanical issues during their service life, which resulted in them being retired by the KP96.
@@EastCoastTransitI have my own canon, the PLT-1s were mostly the PLT-1S during Pre-GOH. During GOH, the PLT-1S were rebuilt to match the flat-faced PLT-1s, thus the reason why we can’t drive the PLT-1S, since it doesn’t exist anymore.
