This brings back memories of the power going out, the old farmers I work for calling me up to get the tractor (Case 1494) and generator(same unit you have) to hookup to his convenience/gas station. Would usually get everything unhooked and hooked up just in time for the power to come back on. About a year ago he finally bought a nat gas backup, nonetheless still a pain in the cunning linguals due to turbo lag/ switchover not being fast enough.
Have a question about one of these? Found one that looks like its been years without being run. Can this cause an issue? Any way to get one back to working if it did not work? Know nothing about these. But found this one for $300. But looks to be in sad shape.
I just had a silly thought: hook it up to an electric tractor to charge the tractor batteries. I wonder how long it would run? Or, would it create a rift in time/space and destroy the earth? heh
I think it might blow the flux capacitor.... you probably could use it like an alternator. Would have to hook an inverter to make ac-dc again and then regulate the charge
