Hey guys. This channel is mostly a daily vlog of farming operations in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I grow corn, soybeans, and make hay. A few things about myself, I worked as a Equipment mechanic at a Case IH dealer for 10 years. So I’m a fan of Red equipment. My channel does offer something for both John Deere guys and some Massey and New Holland.
Arranque el motor y ajústelo a aproximadamente la mitad del acelerador. Mueva el volante hacia adelante y hacia atrás varias veces. Debería purgarse a sí mismo.
Thank you for the excellent content and your knowledge, hope to see more videos! My wife and I are trying to farm in eastern Pennsylvania but have to many land monopolizers, a nice way of saying it. Where in Pennsylvania are you located?
Question there is a 395 by me going on a farm auction do they have hydraulic steering I have a IH 454 and the steering is terrible so before I go bid it would be good to know thanks for any help
My 656 starts really hard injectors were tested and passed inspection head was removed and inspected and replaced with a new gaskets so my next thing is rebuilding injection pump.
Nice video man! I just picked up a case 585 and I’m about to start maintenance on it. It lost the hydro dip stick though. What is the measurement on your dipstick and inches from the bottom to the high and low level? I just want to build my own.
You haven't even scratched the surface on the problems of the 86 series tractors. International was in financial trouble during the construction of this series plus the 88 series. After years of spending all my profit on these red tractors, I finally wised up and bought green. The 86 series tractors I just went from one issue to the next. Every year there was always something failing or breaking. Engines, transmissions, radiator, hydraulic system and the list goes on.
Just saw this video, 6 years old, but as a retired machinest, l could build one of these that would take a Fram HP1 filter that also the adapt. would be a lower profile. Just saying, maybe for $30. from my scrap drop inventory of aluminum. Next project for my 806 Farmall. Nothing wrong with the stock cannister though.
Hate to hear that it's over. Hopefully there will be greener pastures ahead. Enjoyed your videos and your most excellent IH collection and information. Keep us all posted with how things go and what you are up to.
While I do like your video and your advice, you skip a whole bunch of steps. So far I haven't found the transmission filler plug on the operator's manual or service manual or anywhere else, if there was a video with the whole details of transmission oil and filter change would be greatly appreciated.
I just recently in the past year and a half discovered your channel. The content was top notch. Personally if you wanted to end the channel and move on that’s your prerogative; however, personally i would like to see the Super C get an overhaul and if you decide to start farming again. That would be a very welcomed thing doesn’t have to be at the scale that you did it but your knowledge and experience I think should be documented! I would like to here more on your farming experience plus what you do to the Super C I might be doing on my 130 so I will be following along!
My Grandfather, father and myself have owned IH/caseIH tractors since the 60's and my father and I who are both Mechanics worked for IH and CaseIH in New Zealand. A common issue that can arrise is a worn or faulty torque amplier(16 speed transmission option) generally a worn clutch pack or failed sprag bearing, there were weaknesses in the design but it was often due to driver error or abuse. The std 8 speed transmissions tends to be a lot more reliable. In the 85 and 95 series extra plates were added to the T/A clutch pack which made it much stronger and more reliable. Otherwise really good all round tractors. They were extremely popular here in New Zealand with a very good dealer network and back up service.
My 475 is losing drive when in Hi TA while doing loader work when shifting forward or reverse depress the clutch once or twice then it regains drive is this caused by worn seal rings on the shaft any ideas
I know I haven't followed and watched your videos for a long time, but the historical information was always super interesting. Good luck in the future. I always like watching videos of people fixing tractors and making good content. I used to be a mechanic, and I am always trying to pick up new tips and tricks.
I've been watching you from almost day 1. It's been a journey. Wish you luck for future and hope you might get some content every now and then. You're right about the current RU-vid trend being "Shorts". The downside, is all the stupid scripted stuff that people put up. Seems like the shorts are more comic central.
Sad to see you go. I loved the content, smaller farms can't seem to do much in todays world though unfortunately, can't ever seem to get traction and get comfortable.
Sorry that you're leaving RU-vid. You were one of the first channels I watched when I started watching RU-vid a few years ago. Always enjoyed your videos. Maybe you'll start up farming again and start making videos again. I hope so. Will miss you!
Always enjoyed your videos. kept looking and wondering if youd had any new videos. understand life takes over. gotta keep doing what makes you happy. god bless
