I don't get why germany stays out of these discussions. They are the perpetrators, they didn't pay for what they did and on top of it got the big check and help to rebuild themselves. This is the source of our trauma.

You seem to be very sensitive and an emotional person. I hope you will find light and peace in yourself. The Jewish ptsb has started much more earlier, just think Middle East, Egypt, Italy, France .... on Polish soil it was created by Germany .... where we were living peacfuly hundreds years! So thats why you're finding connection with Poles, because we understand each other, because we respect each other, because we are friends so many years! The last century the hell Germans created for all of us is not the only one connector! You need to understand this to work with the trauma. Wishing you get better soon!
La teta asustada, I had 17 years when I watched it and it reasoned so strongly that made me think about all the trauma inherited by living with my grandparents. I think you are wrong, we have war trauma not only because of communism but because freedom is a scarce thing here and we are raised to expect everything that is good will end sooner or later. Why do you think we can spend the highest percentage of GDP on defence. Everyone "knows" what is coming because of the inherited trauma of many generations and we (as Poles). The perspective here is a lot different here than in Spain or France. I mean we are certified trauma victims and we are fighting (mostly with ourselves) to change that optics and how we identify. Of course... We are not the only ones, I strongly believe that trauma is common across Germans, Ukrainians, even Russians. But it has its own flavor, I'm certified only in polish trauma.
They brough that up possibly because there is this new book by Michal Bilewicz "Traumaland. Poles in the shade of their past" - and everyone talks about it. The topic is so obvious, that surprises no one wrote about this way earlier.
Thank you for doing trauma with us ❤😅 Btw, its not just PRL, its the war as well that gives Polish people trauma. I see it in my parents, who were children in the ww2. Also, look into the concept of epigenetics. According to this, we inherit our ancestors traumas, but our generation are probably the first and definitely the best equipped, to do something about it, to heal it and transform it. And last but not least: check out Gabor Mate (if you haven't already 😊)

Sorry to tell you, but the best trauma victors are: the Jewish Messiah born in Bethlehem, His Mother Mary the Queen of Poland with the Holy Spirit, the Saints. They helped many people in Poland. Hey Micheal when it comes to PTSD you remind me of dr Fleischman from Northern Exposure (Przystanek Alaska). Following fact has nothing to do with what I mentioned, but I've watches an episode about how he fixed a plane engine, not knowing anything about engines, just using analogy to a pumping heart.

Prefrontal Cortex: Altered prefrontal cortex function, affecting decision-making, emotional regulation, and cognitive control. What you’re writing is truly offensive to all individuals struggling with PTSD. Such theories divert attention from the severity of the problem. Following this logic, one might conclude that if 40% of people have PTSD, it’s essentially normal. But that’s not true. Read up and apologize.
I think I feel sorry for you, because actually you have very good reasons for PTSD - all your countries are in trouble: 1. Canada - dictatorship of prime minister. 2. Poland - like in Canada + potential war with Russia. 3. Israel - Thousands people murdered, war with Hamas where regular people serving country are dying. I'm suggesting Argentine - at least they are having growth, far away from wars, nice government :)
