Thanks for the info. We are members of the CPC Community face book group, but have not had the opportunity as yet to camp. My husband and I love a good pub crawl, so looks like some thing we would enjoy
Cruise into the bar say G'day have a couple off beers then go back to ya van no big deal i recon happy days 😊 if their cooking great meals you're on a winner saves bloody cooking , merry Christmas guys and safe travels 😊👍👍
Thanks Vicki and Glenn for another informative clip. We have stayed at only a few pub stays but can vouch for the fact that the better the pub or the company, the more expensive it ends up costing to stay! 🤣 But as you say, you meet a lot of people at these places who are always up for a chat. That's the true Aussie Spirit of "mateship" in action at these places 😀
@happycampersaustralia yep, I think the social interactions aswell would be nice in a pub setting. Wife and I really like watching your videos, thanks and all the very best to you/s.
Most pubs are dog friendly for camping (check with each particular pub) As for eating, dog owners are usually accommodated in the Beer Garden (again, check with the venue)
We “retired” from motorcycle touring and took up caravanning. When we were riding we used to stay in country pubs whenever possible. Now when we are on a longer trip we would normally only “eat out” about once a week and mostly this corresponds to a pub stay or a low cost camp in proximity to a pub.
