PUBG just put the original map and gameplay back in the game with Erangel Classic. This was a triumphant blast from the past with @WillfromWork Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
Hey Jack, would you ever be interested in doing A video Maybe similar in to that quasi narrative format you did for that one Elden Ring Video on another long, story centered game? It was a great video, as always, to watch and it would be neat to see others like it, if it is an actual viable video format for you to produce.
A good friend and I played pubg for the first time yesterday, we used to play games a lot but haven't found anything we enjoy playing for extended periods of time... until now. We ended up playing for 6 hours straight. When I say it was probably the best gaming experience I've ever had, I mean it. Genuinely had so much fun.
Old PUBG was just simply better than the new PUBG, I absolutely loved the visuals and the map, the colour grading and graphics looked so much better than the current version of the game.
I'd played it for ages and it was kind ahard to see the gradual change. After coming back in after years just to see what it's like now - it felt like a totally different game. It's really bizarre. Lots of qol additions and improvements, but somehow it just not as good as the original game. I miss the prime time of PUBG. There was nothing remotely like it till it came out, and hasn't been since.
@@doriangrigorie7345 Tbh I think he's referring to how the community was back in 2017, obviously it'll never be replicated. Just like how the Warzone players of 2020-2021 were much more tolerable compared to now. I can't for the life of me play Rebirth Island even though its my favorite map because the playstyle of 80% of players make me feel 2 years out of date.
Jack incessantly ringing the bell on his bike @ 13:30 making sure everyone in the near vicinity knows your location, followed by that golden callout with the E.T. theme as you ride over the top of the hill... you're too damn funny for your own good boys! 🤣👍
Old PUBG, Battlefield 3 and 4, Call of Duty OG MW 1/2 and Black Ops 1/2. Such fun times we have back then. Now it's all about the battle passes, $250 unheard super ultra edition, live broken services, and snoy / xbucks.
No, it's dangerous because you wear "rose tinted glasses" and imagine that the past was good/better. You ignore the reality and feel warm and fuzzy for a time that never was
I feel nostalgia can make you feel good when thinking about the good times, but you're still gonna get depressed too because you're thinking of times you'd rather be in and they are just gone.. it's bad for people with depression lol
"Ridges, famously named after Michael Ridge in 1908, because his head was shaped like a ridge." "That's amazing that they already had the word ridge to describe his head."
The dichotomy of extremely high adreneline with absolutely nothing at stake, and long periods of downtime with extremely short but intense battles was just so unique in this game. It was incredibly fun and addictive in 2018 but it is hard to remember exactly why lol.
Love it! when you’re duo up with Will it is always hilarious, just perfect after a long day of work ❤ And the nostalgia really hitting in this one as well
Still haven't played a game that comes close to the visceral impact that original PUBG has on you. Real fight or flight response, or the feeling when you're stalking another player. It's criminal what they did to the game, including ending server support for entire geographic areas
See this is why i respect Jack, because he leaves in the clips of what real games CAN be like..... No matter your skill, sometimes it's just land, die, land, die.... land, this time get loot, die
@7:47 This was my experience the entire time I played PUBG. Couldn't even see the guy, but somehow shot through walls before they ever laid eyes on me. Though on their screen I bet it was clear as day.
You have horrible connection then. Same thing happened almost everytime I used to play. They can see you around the corner before you can see them. Just a tenth of a second but it makes a huge difference.
i was the number one player on xbox for a few months and there was nothing like it. The absolute stress of trying to maintain that rank almost broke me. No other game before or since has had me as stressed as PubG and i mean that in a good way.
PUBG needs a massive day and night cycle map with quick transportation and long grass / underground areas / cover in other words and a storm that isn’t always in the shape of a ⭕️ Oh and some destruction and night vision 👍
lol that last game for Will. Loot and drive around for 45 minutes without seeing a single living thing, take a few pot shots, get lucky on zone so you're in final, die, teamate wins for him. Now that brings back memories (for my brother!). The build up to and adrenaline in that last battle though has never been topped for me in another videogame. And there is literally nothing at stake but bragging rights. No loot, no currecy, no xp, no cosmetics, absolutely nothing lol.
