Public art highlights Bellevue's Japanese American history 

Bellevue's 8th Street pedestrian bridge is now open, and it features a new installation by artists Mari Shibuya and Erin Shigaki. The art piece uses the Japanese repair technique called kintsugi to explore the history of east side communities of color.
