Region of Peel - Investigators from the 22 Division, Criminal Investigation Bureau are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a male and female involved in an assault and forcible confinement investigation.
On Sunday, June 2, 2024, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Peel Regional Police were made aware of an incident that occurred on Goderich Drive in Brampton. Through investigation, police have obtained video of the incident that appears to show a female being assaulted by a male and then being forcibly placed in a vehicle that left the area before police arrival.
Police are concerned for the well-being of the female. She is described as female, black, medium build, with braids in a ponytail, wearing a camo or black and white tracksuit.
The male involved in this incident is described as black, slim build, with twists/braids, wearing a red t-shirt with a white graphic and blue jeans.
The vehicle involved is a dark-colored sedan.
