Peel Regional Police is committed to our Vision of 'A Safer Community Together'. Everything we do is driven by our Mission, Vision and Values and we pride ourselves in being accountable to our community. We are the third largest police service in Ontario and the fourth largest municipal police service in Canada. We serve the Region of Peel which has over 1.4 million residents, and the Pearson International Airport which sees an estimated 35 million people pass through every year. One of our objectives is to address crime through call response, investigations, enforcement, and police visibility. With over 2,000 police officers and 800 civilian employees, our solvency rates are some of the highest in the country and our crime rates are below provincial levels.
Okay so you guys passed that law for us not to use our cell phones why Drive-In or texting while we're driving we're not allowed to text or drive and you guys passed that long now we need to pass a law for you law enforcement that you're not allowed to test while driving it's a two-way street it's not a one-way Street officers.? @therealgg13
Every U.S. state has different laws and tint percentages concerning this topic. Check your state’s specific list. Correctly installed tint can be seen through with excellent visual acuity even at night. My local police departments cars tint are jet black you cannot see the officer, which is funny cause it’s against our state law but they get a special pass because reasons.
I just have one question why if someone is minding their own business hasn’t broken any law why is it adamant that y’all have ID from them like its crack or something?
just wondering if a transparent window film on the windshield and front windows is legal, since it can still reduce heat and block UV despite being colorless?
Oh no! They might have to roll their window down at night in order to see? What a horrible crime! How ever would one be burdened with the task of rolling their window down!
So I was turning right on a red no one was coming so went ahead and a person from the far left lane changed lanes in the intersection almost hit me behind. This would be my fault or his? Should be illegal
80 is too damn slow wth, ill say its ok during snow rain or pitch blackness but come the fuck on do they realize what the average car is capable of now? This isnt 1935 where 80 km is playing god tell these guys to update some speed limits on roads around the country
@@trist308 the average car can stop on a dime now whats your point? Unless the driver is completely oblivious, otp, or drunk the speed shouldn’t be an issue
@@trist308 where did i say i dont follow speed limits? Brother you are definitely a cop. Neither of our points are incorrect. My main point is that there is a better middle ground in terms of policing roads
Where is the 80 speed limit? If its on a one lane country road than it is ok (maybe 100 woud be great) but if it is on a highway than it is crazy (130-none woud be better)
Exactly. I have 20% on my windshield which is dark as hell. Cause i also have 5% on the sides. I legitimately can see out absolutely perfect. Never ever once have i had a hindered view of sight with 20% on my windshield. These laws are just money generators. It’s extortion at its finest
question then if you're making a right turn onto an open lane when there is two lanes and someone makes the lane change into that lane that you were going to who is at fault then? this is why I will let the person behind me honk all day till both lanes are open.
Worth nothing because: Service Ontario sells plate covers Police never fine a single person for it, so it's not enforced. I'm sorry if you are unlucky enough to get a fine for it.
Maybe if there was actual police presence in Mississauga people would be more hesitant to drive while texting. Stop hiding in squad cars and chatting up other cops parked side by side all over Mississauga, including supervisors in suvs. See it daily. I'm not the only one who sees it.
I have LEGAL tint from the car manufacturer subaru. It has totally legal tint. BUT IT still gives the cop a reason to pull you over. This is total BS so I stopped paying for the car. You can also ask to get all windows replaced from the dealership.
THIS IS FALSE. UNBELIEVABLE COMING FROM A POLICE OFFICER. TAKE THIS VIDEO DOWN. From the Ontario Highway Traffic Act: ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW “Right turn, where multiple lanes (3) Despite subsection (2), where more than one lane of a highway has been designated as a right-turn lane, the driver or operator of a vehicle intending to turn to the right into an intersecting highway shall approach the intersection in one of the lanes and leave the intersection in the lane of the intersecting highway that corresponds to the lane from which the turn was commenced. ” There is a similar section for left turns. Unless I’m mistaken, this means stay in your lane through the turn.
Christ in cracker, What is inbelievable is how stupid you are. You understand the written word but didn't give two thought about what the officer was referring to. She is talking about LANE changes, not turns.
