A beautiful acoustic 🎸 Lines with a genuine original PIL relaxing hovering atmosphere ambience. A great Demo from a floating Cool Sonic dynamic refreshing 🌊🌊 of Quality!

Its still a great album. in an ideal world lydon would cooperate with levene and they would compile , and remaster it. will never happen but the matereal is all there if they wanted it

... and Atkins (no less importantly, Atkins´ whose sound and unique approach to drumming at this stage was unrivalled ) . You are right, the material is definitely there but sounds unfinnished to me ,even though it´s already incredible , even at such stages ... ... screw "if"s really - it is what it is and I love what we were left with by both camps, one more than the other actually . Lou Reed part II is one of my favourite PIL songs ever from all line ups ... can only imagine Wobble playing on that one even though I like what the producer came up with too.

Hmmm are there three versions of this song? There is the official LP version, the one on the Commercial Zone LP (a stripped instrumental) and this one with the very unnerving vocals....which album did you get this off?

@@mikesum32 all these years later and I still don't know. The Commercial Zone LP track, The Slab, is a pretty stripped down mix clocking in at 3:30. The This is What You Want LP track, Order of Death, has the same track duration and almost identical instrumental mix, but the vocals are different. I don't own anything PiL past '83, discogs didn't help in narrowing it down. My guess is it's on Plastic Box or one of the more recent compilations.

@@juankenon Not on that, would've been a bootleg Plastic Box is cool but doesn't really have any outtakes from this era, John has stated that Commercial Zone is just a bunch of bad demos so I don't think he ever wants to release tracks like this that got made into something, it wasn't until the recent compilation where an official version of Bad Night and Vampire came out
