You guys are great, as being in a big hunting family we all say the same thing to each other with every show we watch " There all the same, they preach to that you have to use the best newest and greatest products to be successful" Its nice seeing a show that brings it back to what its really all about. Awesome channel, awesome hunts!
Wow, what a special hunt with your dad ❤️. Congratulations, and hopefully more father/son time to come. Props to your pop for taking on the swamp. 💪🏼👊🏼
that's some killer footage! I've never seen a bow hunter capture the final bed down. GREAT WORK. Nothing better than sharing a killer hunt with your Pop, and getting it on film...
1st off congratulations to your pop! I wish I would have had the privilege to take my dad hunting and give back all he had given me for many years. But my dad passed away when I was 21 and now I’m 46. 2nd your videos are great! They are truly honest and inspiring. You my friend are truly a SPORTSMAN that puts in the hard work for success. To me coming home with what you are hunting is not the only way you succeed. Finding the deer(bucks) large or small doesn’t matter. Being within bow range of any deer is success! Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your videos.
Easily the best whitetail channel I've viewed. I hunt Sauk County in WI. Every hunter should aspire to put in the work and attention to detail as you guys!
That is 2x now that there is no attempt to stop the deer at all. Have you had that fail? It works for me every time....at least the stopping them part! LOL
Why didn't I find this channel earlier? You guys give me motivation to hunt harder. I have had close calls with many nice bucks but yet to put the smack down. It's coming though....
+Antonio Medina Good luck man, I can tell you one thing, the more time and work you put into it, just like anything in life, you will eventually reap the rewards!
Man, your videos r some of the best real deal hunts ive been tryin to find! Thanks for all the hard work.. I think i may give filming a try this season! Keep it up
Hey Brother, that's a great hunt. If you ever get a chance to come to WV, get in touch with me. There is 4 countys that is archery only, and has been this way since in 1970's. Only allowed 1 buck and 1 doe yearly, so we have some really nice bucks. I live in McDowell Co. which is archery only.
Your videos are very entertaining, and realistic. Thanks for your hard work man. Congrats. Question... Do you like the predator camo? I'm debating on getting some. I've always used realtree xtra and mossyaok.
@@behindthebow I'm 65, broken down body and cancer survivor and still shoot a recurve.. I really despise those who take the crossbow route. Its your choice but don't whine when we lose are bow season to these things. Otherwise I really like your films
+Catman Outdoors Thanks! Just a normal all around boat. 16ft tracker, Vhull, with a 60hp Merc. If I was to change anything I would have a 14ft flat bottom...getting in shallow water efficiently is key.
+Behind the Bow yep shallow water is an issue here too. I have a long shaft motor on a short transom so it hangs down pretty good. If the depth finder shows less than 3 feet I kill the throttle and creep through there. The river is swollen right now an might be prime to run the boat on Sunday when I hunt the last day of season here.
Catman Outdoors I know you commented a long time ago but if your still running a long shaft on short transom just get yourself a jack plate. $60 through bass pro for a standard non moving one.
@skankhunt42 how do you get to hunt Milwaukee parks? I lived in Milwaukee for 41 year's and always have tried to hunt parks and golf courses. Just never could. I've seen some giant buck's on Grant park and Warnimont park golf courses as well as Hansen.
+Jared Beyer I've stepped foot in Navarino once. Lots of public there! Shoot me an email at curtisbehindthebow@gmail.com if you have any questions. Thanks.
I don’t make any effort to shoot a big buck until I have two fat year old does in the freezer. Big bucks look good on the wall, but not my cup of tea on the table. I’m of a different generation though. Read :opinionated grumpy old guy.
Griffin Eagan may you have a few hundred acres of private land to hunt, these guess scratched one out of public land nothing wrong with taking that buck no comparison to hunting public land compared to private
