She looks like she couldn't care less and looks like she's about to fall asleep. She's disgusting, and as a dv survivor, I believe she is no different than an abuser. She used her position of power to abuse an already broken down victim. Kicking someone while they are down is about as low as you can get. I hope she gets hers. Karma is a real thing.
👆🏾It has nothing to do with domestic violence. Judges like her just under extreme pressure to not have the jury wait. It's not personal at all. If you're really upset having to change the incentive structure. The girl said she would show up and she didn't show up. The judge gets penalized for that for not running an efficient trial. And it drops their score..
@@supriseimblack Under extreme pressure from whom? By the time this DV victim stood before Judge Collins, there was no waiting jury, and a plea agreement had already been reached. Judges don't get "penalized" if a victim in a criminal case doesn't show up to trial, that's nonsense. Judges are either elected or appointed. They don't have performance reviews and they aren't scored on a points system, either. Where the hell are you pulling this complete BS out of, your ass or just thin air?
@@supriseimblack it's pretty obvious she showed zero human empathy in the video, lmao. She goes as far as to be sarcastic and a downright horrible person
At face value, that is correct. But think about this; her reputation is forever damaged. Now, whenever she appears in a courtroom, attorneys are going to immediately know that she's the one who berated a victim of domestic violence. Public confidence in her decision making has also likely been irreversably damaged. Not exactly good things to be known for when you're a judge. So yes, punishments doled out for these cases of misconduct are shockingly light. However, the reputational and ethical damage these reprimands cause on judges is significant.
Her behavior was indeed a sad day for the court system. However, this ridiculous slap on the wrist is another sad day for the court system. She should not stay in the position to be a judge and she should feel the three days of jail as well.
She should have had to have done months of classes on domestic violence and learn what it is like for people suffering at the hands of an abuser. Zero humanity in this woman.
I hereby commit Judge Jerki Collins to the harshest sentence available by law - three days without her massive (and unwarranted) superiority complex. May glob have mercy on your soul.
How on earth did this individual become a judge??!!! Although it's good she received some punishment, in my opinion.. It wasn't a fair punishment. No other human being should be mistreated like that DV survivor.
This channel needs a marketing manager to get this out more to the world. Let the people see these monsters. If more people know they can't let them off lightly.
Became a judge just to have power not to be a fair, equal and discerning final decision maker. Abuse of power is tied to ego and hers needed to be checked
She can care less… she looks bored and ber face says hrry the fook up i aint got time for this. She has no remorse…. Only words she knows she needs to say. Its disqusting. She should have gotten 3 days herself, no pay and away feom her family if she has any. Women like her make victims continue to be victims in silent. Not a judge that should be presiding over domestic violence issues or anything other then maybe a murder trial. So many people do worse and get less or no kind of punishment at all. She makes me sick and i do not claim her as a fellow women.
Those eyes and face expressions tell she can care less what he is saying. She literally looks like a kid does when a parent says something the kid doesn't like. Should have removed her completely
This women is a ABUSER!!!! How dare she abuse a victim even more. This women should never be allowed to practise law ever again or ever be a judge. I promise you if she went thru Domestic violence she would never have acted the way she did that day. It is about time that a judge must have experienced with Domestic violence as it seems the only people who understand it is victims themselves
If a white female judge did this to another white female who was apparently a victim of domestic violence, it scares me to imagine how much worse black men in the judicial system are treated!?
@@MrUnderhilllusually people who aren’t inbred little shits that have a rage boner for racism… but I can see you aren’t aging well due to all that hatred. Aging like milk
Those who abuse their power like that deserve capital punishment. Not a fucking reprimand. Scum of the earth she probably got paid for sitting on the board of the jail and literally got paid for putting people in it (like 98% of the judges in this country).
I missed the sanction, what was the sanction posed against her? UPDATE, Oh! Public reprimand? How does that burn her? Looks like a whole lot of smoke and mirrors to me.
